This is, of course, completely irrelevant to Obama's eligibility since Obama does not have a Certificate of Hawaiian Birth (COHB), as Michael Michael has noted. He has a standard birth certificate, which is much harder to falsify than the COHB.
However, I point this out just to show that even in the case of Sun Yat Sen, the Territory of Hawaii did not knowingly say someone was born there who wasn't. The state didn't do that then, and it doesn't do it now.
Why exactly would he do that?

I’ve been on Free Republic using two different names since 1995.
I’ve been doing opposition research, with a whole lot of others, concerning Obama’s past. It is amazing how much information, in government data bases and within MSM archives, has disappeared or is being puposefully withheld from the public.
This makes it very, very difficult to source ANYTHING about Obams’s past. Add to that the placement of disinformation by Obama’s goons, and the picture gets absolutely crazy. That is why I’m hanging onto information collected mostly last year, before being wiped.
So go ahead and flame away. It doesn’t change the fact that information about his mother is more readily available and that his mother was out of the United States at the time of her son’s birth, and that he was legally adopted by his stepdad, Lolo Soetoro, when he was less than four years old.
