An Oklahoma City police officer wrongly pulled over a man last week and confiscated an anti-President Barack Obama sign the man had on his vehicle.
The officer misinterpreted the sign as threatening, said Capt. Steve McCool, of the Oklahoma City Police Department, and took the sign, which read "Abort Obama, not the unborn."
Chip Harrison said he was driving to work when a police car followed him for several miles and then signaled for him to pull over.
''I pulled over, knowing I hadn't done anything wrong," Harrison said in a recent phone interview.
When the officer asked Harrison if he knew why he had been pulled over, Harrison said he did not.

“Except it sounds like the Secret Service where [sic] doing exactly what they should have, they said he wasnt a threat nor was the sign, they interviewed and left.”
So a search of a man’s home is now an interview? One thing for sure, the motorists of OKC won’t have to worry about seeing any more negative bumper stickers regarding Obama. Message received.
Good grief! With police state mentality like this, it’s amazing we weren’t taken over by the marxists even sooner.
Would love to see the government take an interest in the real hate groups in this country, e.g. Islamic fundamentalists... and illegal aliens... instead of bothering a guy with an opinion.
Yeah, why isn’t that moron’s name in the article? If some private citizen is alleged to have done something his name gets plastered everywhere and the media park outside his house and say, “why did you do it? Where’s the body?”

Welcome to Nazi Germany, U.S. Style, circa 2009.
What was that they were sayin’ about profiling?
The rabid left made movies about killing Pres. Bush. Why weren’t they investigated?
OK, so we can now accost liberals for being part of a hate group, right?
Really, what relevance has that to anything? Are we now required to like everyone? I hate communists. Better put me on the list.
1. Who defines what is a "hate group"
2. So what if I DO belong to one of their defined "hate groups"
3. Ever hear of freedom of association
It is all over our local news here in the OKC area — would expect more of these to show up in the days ahead.
Bad public relations for the police department caused by one officer who is thin skinned.
They were doing exactly what THAT ONE wants them to....harrass and intimidate those who don’t lick Hussien’s boots.
Mr. Harrison now has a file....”for the children” or “for the public good” or whatever other excuses and catch phrases Obama’s thugocracy can come up with.
Or arrested for Felonious Stupid.
I remember, back during the Bush Administration, when "hate" was legal.
In fact, if you hated the Bush Administration, you could imagine yourself some sort of hero in the liberal playground. You and every other idiot hero in the liberal playground.
He needs to file a complaint against the officer. That cop sounds like a loose cannon.
It was not only the arresting officer who is at fault, it is the officer’s superiors who either condoned contacting the SS or actually reported it. I would sue the bastards for harrassment and violation of my first amendment rights. You know damn well if the situation had been reversed, i.e., a Leftist had been similarly treated while a Rep was in the WH, the MSM and ACLU would be calling for the police chief’s head and an investigation of the SS.
Ah memories of the Clinton years. Your govt working against you.

I wasn't aware of that....very sad. I'm guessing that DU, Puffington Host and The Nation's website are all flagged as 'recommended educational sites' as well.
If Barry's Poll Numbers start tanking there will be an all out assault on dissent!
You can take that to the bank!
If I had been a Secret Service agent I would have burned down your house for being a Sooner. :-)~
