Obama Born In The U.S. ? New Facts Say; “Probably Not!”
Let me be the first to admit that I have been a constant debunker of the “Obama Born Overseas” stories. How could it be possible? How could the DNC, Hillary, Edwards, the RNC, McCain, Romney, AP, BBC, ABC, FNC, etc, (and every 100th listing in the DC phone book) not have checked this out to its last level of possibility?
Well, it appears that they didn’t! Everyone assumed “the other guy did it.”
Forget for the moment all the clues left by the high-priced Obama and DNC legal teams. They are huge.
Obama and the DNC always argue “standing.” They could eliminate every legal challenge in 5 minutes by simply producing a certified copy of the original long-form birth certificate. Throw in the testimony of the Hawaii Registrar of Documents, a few retired FBI chief document examiners, and the doctor who delivered him for good measure.
If they did that in two or three courts of record, in light of the obvious media coverage it would receive, every other court nationwide would accept the precedence and the cases would all be over.
But they don’t. They keep telling the courts, “please don’t hear this case.” No proof of any kind. Just the legalese argument that the plaintiffs have no standing before that court.
That’s so overreaching, it’s like buying a refinery to get a 3000 mile oil change! And one day, some court is going to say…. “Show me the money, er,. ah, I mean, Show me the documents!”
But there is a second, and perhaps new point!
Where is that doctor who delivered him, or the midwife?
Stop and think. The delivery of a half Negro – half Caucasian baby was rare anyhere in 1961. Oriental babies were common in Hawaii of course, but a half Negro-half Caucasian baby with the funny name of Barrack Obama, in Hawaii? In 1961?
Even of you were a Republican, if you delivered a future President of the United States, wouldn’t you call some newspaper somewhere with your story. Or if you were the assistant obstetrician, or the anesthesiologist, or the scrub nurse?
What about the circulating nurse, or the pediatrician, one of a dozen nurses on the 24 hour-a-day shifts in the nursery, one of many nurses on the ward where Mrs. Obama would have stayed for three days, a records registrar, a technician of any kind, hell, even the janitor!
What about the clerks, ambulance drivers….. somebody ?!?!?!
Anybody ?!?!?!
Wouldn’t someone have been yelling their “credit” for this from the rooftops???? The date when he was born is (supposedly) known. Certainly all these (supposed) people would know where they were working then!
Where is somebody, anybody, who was there or even remembers the birth?

No doubt in my mind that you are correct! It looks like a tag team effort, very well coordinated indeed.
I can’t speak for other FReepers but I personally can’t stand spending 2 minutes on DU. Those people turn my stomach with their ideas. Yet the Obots spend hours and hours here plaguing constitutionalists. What could possibly motivate behavior like that?
Obama made an assertion of eligibility when he signed candidacy forms. It’s up to him to support that assertion and not up to skeptics to disprove it.

Unfortunately, it appears that the “president” is unable to meet any standard at all. A politician with lower standards is pretty hard to find, even in Illinois.

Right, like we’re incapable of doing more than one thing at a time. And, for my money, being Republican has very little to do with it. It’s about having to deal with a “president” who lies, obfuscates, cheats, and demonstrates low standards constantly. There are Dems who find his “act” extremely distasteful too.

Now they’re trying “guilt by association” tactics. If we make a claim that Phil Berg has made, why, we’re throwing in with “9-11 ‘truthers.’” Berg has shown a lot of resolve on this, whatever his motives, and attacking him doesn’t faze me in the least. And regardless of any Indonesian citizenship, showing the vault copy would solve the mystery of Barry’s birthplace, as you say.

The whole point of discussion is that the claim is based on assumptions. Clearly you believe the assumption is a true one, but can you not admit that it is in fact an assumption?
You’re entirely welcome. My own policy, when one starts to get under my skin, is to simply hit the “ignore” button. If nobody bothered with them, they’d go away.
The problem we face is trying to deal with folks who are of a “it depends on what the meaning of ‘is’ is” turn of mind. Common sense goes right out the window.

I prefer to concentrate on the relationship between Ann Dunham and BO, Sr., since the story told by Obama and repeated endlessly by robotic media has more holes in it than Swiss cheese. But the proof of those holes lies in Seattle, not Hawaii, Kenya or Canada. It exists in the testimony of Ann's friends that she was there with the weeks-old baby at the end of August '61, as well as the spring and summer of '62; in the registration information provided by UW in Seattle; in the listing of Anna Obama in the '61-62 Polk's Directory and the Seattle '61-62 reverse telephone directory, and with the testimony of a neighbor who babysat for the "seven-month old" Obama at the same address (and whose name appears at that address in the reverse directory).
By the way, genealogists will tell you there was historically a significant time-lapse between the information collection in the Polk Directories and the actual printing and distribution. It the early part of the century, the information was as much as a year-old when it appeared. Polk was an early adopter of computer technology, so the time gap would have been shortened by the early '60's, but depending on when the '61-62 Directory of Seattle was printed, the information could conceivably have been collected as early as last quarter of 1960, which would place Ann in that Capitol Hill apartment soon after after her visits to friends on Mercer Island.
OTOH, the only independent confirmation (aside from Madelyn Dunham and Obama himself) of Ann and BO, Sr.'s relationship in Hawaii lies in the continually quoted uber-leftist and Obama booster, Rep. Neil Abercrombie. Abercrombie remembers every little detail, but the other members of the group who hung out with Obama at the "snack bar," including Abercrombie's own brother, curiously draw a blank when it comes to remembering seeing Ann and Obama together.
