Obama White House Calls for Repealing Defense of Marriage Act

President Barack H. Obama is poised to be the most pro-homosexual chief executive in history.

Unveiling his agenda Tuesday on the newly refurbished version of the White House Web site, Obama called for the repeal of the federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), as well as the extension of more than 1,000 federal marriage benefits and of adoption rights to homosexual couples.

The new administration laid out its plans on the Web site--whitehouse.gov--at 12:01 p.m. EST, during Obama’s swearing-in ceremony.

The site’s “Civil Rights” section lists a number of items long on the homosexual agenda, including expanding federal hate-crimes laws, repealing the ban on homosexuals in the military and extending the definition of workplace discrimination to include sexual orientation.

In the section entitled “Support for the LGBT (Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgendered) Community,” the Web site says Obama wants full inclusion of homosexual couples under federal law.

“President Obama supports full civil unions that give same-sex couples legal rights and privileges equal to those of married couples,” the Web site says.

“Obama also believes we need to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act and enact legislation that would ensure that the 1,100-plus federal legal rights and benefits currently provided on the basis of marital status are extended to same-sex couples.” the Web site says....

"I hope that President Obama is wise enough to abandon the economic policies that he as advocated in the past and thus avoid the destruction and collapse of the U.S. economy."

That will happen when these things start flying out of B. Huinsane's orifice.

McCain...the author of a bill to eliminate the first amendment... Mr. McAmnesty....some of us found him SO repugnant, that we think that he could possibly be even more destructive than Uhbama (he certainly would have put the final nail in the coffin of American conservatism...which is pretty much dead anyway).

"There’s no way Obama will be a two-term president. You can put that in stone."

We will see. I am not as confident as you though. Too many take their ball and go home conservatives if they do not get the candidate they want.

That was a different section. I just took from the section that was exclusively concerning gay issues, to illustrate how many different aspects there are in his gay agenda.

Major media should have helped in California...but it didn’t matter.

I think he is outlining the quickest and easiest approach for a recovery with the election of 2010 in the house and senate. He is handing out the roadmap and giving major tips on how to counter his entire “change” game.

Why don't you stop blaming the voters and start stopping socialism from both parties. The numbers and cash weren't there to defeat Obama, our nominee stunk and even then many conservatives voted for McCain because of Palin.

Even if McCain would have gotten elected, he would have never passed a conservative agenda through the Democrat Congress.

I say bring socialism on and let the schmucks who voted for Obama experience it in all of its glory.

One of the most vocal supporters of DOMA was Sen. Robert “KKK” Byrd...the other liberal lion who got sick at lunch yesterday. I don’t know if Byrd will back down but if he doesn’t, who’s to say Obamination won’t uncover and show Byrd’s racist roots via the MSM? Get the old man to retire and leave gracefully, then replace him with a young lib sure to stick with the program.

The very first day in office this is on his agenda...

He did some major damage yesterday by putting Bush's pending changes on hold. At a gas field in Wyoming, workers arriving to start their work day were told to go home and apply for unemployment. The company had to shutdown 30 rigs. An immediate spike in unemployment and massive loss of gas supplies. Watch the idiot in action. He's too stupid to understand the damage he's doing.

“ROTFL!

I’d say The Messiah didn’t pay much attention to how the last Democrat administration started off, nor what resulted 24 months later - the loss of the House of Representatives for the first time in over 40 years.”

The media paid attention, though. They just won’t make a big deal about: quadrupling tobacco taxes, legalizing gay mariage, repealing don’t ask/don’t tell, taxing ammunition, closing Gitmo, establishing ‘lists’ of gun owners....and thats just one day’s work. It will happen very quietly.

Here’s one that nobody heard about from last week:

“The U.S. House of Representatives passed a bill Wednesday to raise federal tobacco taxes and expand the State Children’s Health Insurance Program.

The $33 billion bill would raise federal taxes on cigarettes, cigars, rolling paper and other tobacco products to help fund the expansion. Cigarette taxes would rise from 39 cents per pack to $1.

Congressional Democrats previously pushed to extend the program to uninsured middle-class children, but efforts were vetoed by President Bush, who wanted the federal program geared toward the poor. President-elect Barack Obama is expected to sign the SCHIP expansion if it gains Senate approval.”

Remember all the fighting over SCHIPS, and Bush’s veto of it. That was all quietly undone. $33 BILLION just got sucked into the Federal vacuum cleaner, and nobody noticed.

The media learned alot from Bubba’s first two years.

You've stated the precise opposite of what he will do. Destroying America is job one for "the One".
