Investigator casts doubt on Obama's birth residence

A private investigator has released to WND an affidavit that casts doubt on whether Barack Obama's family lived at the address listed in the published notice of his birth in 1961.

Jorge Baro was hired by WND to investigate issues related to Obama's birth amid allegations the Democrat does not meet the Constitution's requirement that a president be a "natural born citizen."

Baro's affidavit documents an interview his staff conducted with Beatrice Arakaki, who has lived at 6075 Kalanianaole Highway in Honolulu since before Obama was born.

The affadivit is at the center of a federal lawsuit filed prior to the November election in Hattiesburg, Miss., before U.S. District Judge Keith Starrett. The suit is one of several yet to be adjudicated that calls for proof of Obama being a "natural born citizen" as required by the Constitution.

Baro is the in-house senior investigator for Elite Legal Services, LLC, in Royal Palm Beach, Fla.

But, we mustn’t forget that he was just an infant at
the time in question.

Also, I believe I’ve located a nephew who’s
old enough to remember, perhaps, where his Aunt and
Uncle lived in 1961.
Especially, if the usual cards, letters, and pics
were being exchanged between the two households.

I know that I can recall lots of details about
my extended family’s homes....from as far back as
age 3, or even 2.
So, a 5-yr-old nephew might even remember visiting the
Kalanianaole Hwy. home...and playing with his “cousins,” there.

Bear-in-mind — IF there is some deep, dark secret
waiting to be disclosed...
there will certainly be others looking, as well...

Wish I could name one in particular, I was kind of the one in the forefront of the Lefforge family, particularly knowing that Andrea was just at that age to be baby crazy enough to know if there was a baby living in the tiny cottage in the back yard for a few weeks. I doubt it though considering the total lack of infant pictures. Think of the number of infant photos of Jr, you can count them on one finger! Only one photo was ever released(after the death of Madelyn) and it was of a baby between the ages of 6 to 8 months, a professional photo with Jr the only one in the shot. I would hazard a guess that it was taken as a gift to send to grandma and grandpa as an Anniversary gift. There are no photos of the first time mother and infant and none of the first time grandparents and grandson. Madelyn’s co-workers never knew she had a grandson until he returned to HI to attend Punahou. Stanley was so affected by what Ann had done he commented to a co-worker about having lied “Guess who’s coming to dinner” in the 70’s when he was working at Hancock Life Insurance. Jr was a shadow to Stanley Armour upon his return to HI with his mother in the 62-63 period until the two left to go to Indonesia.

when Jr looked to be 10, or so.

There are quite a few pics(toddler pics, google Obama toddler pics) of Jr when he and Ann returned to HI from WA state, the one of him on the fence being the most often shown. As I mentioned the baby photo was obviously taken when he was in WA state and there has never been any infant photos. Even if Ann and Jr were 7 miles away from her parents’ home in HI they would have made the effort to take photos of their only daughter and grandson but there are none. I don’t think she gave birth in HI, I think she was sent away before she even began to show that she was pregnant. With both parents beginning new jobs, it would be a scandal having their daughter turn up pregnant, and much easier to send her back to WA state when they found out.

So, you think the Dunham’s sent her away, then?

Maybe, they even pressured her to give-up the baby,

After all, I doubt even Ann fancied herself spending
the rest of her life in Africa, dutifully serving
as one of Sr.’s multiple wives.

Quite right. The Honolulu Advertiser speculated last November that Bambi's parents resided in this cottage behind the house at 6085 Kalaniana'ole Highway:

They speculated but if you will notice they also pointed out that Obama Sr already had a home, “a small, single story home located at 625 11th Ave. in the St. Louis Heights area” 1/2 mile from UH. In that same article, they mention that the home in the birth announcement was the first home of the Dunhams when they moved to HI when it was not.(We have confirmation of this fact from various sources) The first home of the Dunhams was actually the home at 2277 Kamehameha Ave., which they lived in until they moved to the home on University Ave. The article you reference also mentions an apartment on Alexander St as one in which Madelyn and Stanley lived which is also incorrect. The apartment would have been rented in their names for Ann and Jr to live in upon their return to HI from WA state. Ann and Jr then moved back in with her parents when she registered for spring 1963 classes at UH.

Checking property taxes....
looks like they’ve just gone up a point (per thou)
on “residential.”

So, even if Nani Smethurst (listed owner) goes
with the “affordable rental housing” option, for
that backyard bungalow....
with the land and main house, I’d still hate to have
to pay that tax bill!

Wish I were better at math, and could figure out the
county’s assessment of the main residence.
Because, I just can’t imagine a tenured member of
UH, raising a family in anything shabby.

But, we might also consider that the bungalow is
a more recent addition to the property — not there
in ‘61, for instance.
Or, perhaps it was just a garage, back then...or,
a storage shed?

Still....wouldn’t such a structure make sense, were
the owners making the best use of it?

Hmmm....guess I’ll mentally revisit my earlier idea —
and consider that the Lefforge’s may well have been
“housing” troubled, expectant mothers...with hopes
of adding to their own little family, with as few
legal obstacles as possible. :?

have you ever run across the name, “Elaine,”

No. But, according to Microsoft, this is the property:

It would appear there is a garage or carport and an L-shaped main house facing the street and a backyard with a gazebo and the cottage in question.

To settle the question, we would need to find the owner at the time and ask if they had a young, mixed-race couple as tenants. Or ask the neighbors. I understand the latter has been done, but with negative results.

If I remember correctly when Orland and Thelma split up they both remarried, and his second spouse was Elaine somebody or other. Neither second marriage worked out and the two got back together but didn’t remarry, this may have had to do with benefits. In both obituaries they are mentioned as “companions” If I can find the energy I will look back through my Nov. and Dec. filings to see if my info is correct and let you know.

Reference the property from the birth announcement, it is located in the most expensive area of Oahu because it is on the ocean side of the island. The small cottage at the back of the property was built in the 1950’s from info Freeper’s found way back in August.

(uhm....minus 60-some-odd days, that is) So, don't mind me, and my somewhat irritating lack of patience, my friend. I'm a slow reader, anyway. :)

Since the '50's? And it was a residence all along? Hmm....a good bet they were renting it out, then. Still, it's an awfully small parcel...I mean -- comparatively speaking. But then, I suppose that most every plat is high-dollar property, in that area. Considering places like L.A., or N.Y.C., for instance... people are often jammed together like sardines in a can! Yet, there's nothing cheap about the real estate!

Zillow prices it at $681K, down from a peak of $906K in 2007.

Even today that particular area is the most expensive zip code in all of Oahu.
