Constitutional crisis looming over Obama's birth location

The California secretary of state should refuse to allow the state's 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until President-elect Barack Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office, alleges a California court petition filed on behalf of former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and others.

The legal action today is just the latest is a series of challenges, some of which have gone as high as the U.S. Supreme Court, over the issue of Obama's status as a "natural-born citizen," a requirement set by the U.S. Constitution.

WND senior reporter Jerome Corsi even traveled to Kenya and Hawaii prior to the election to investigate issues surrounding Obama's birth. But his research and discoveries only raised more questions.

The biggest question is why Obama, if a Hawaii birth certificate exists, simply hasn't ordered it made available to settle the rumors.

You really know your words, and I am so proud of you!" She gives him the rest of the cookies in the jar! "I know you'll love these, and you deserve ALL those delicious cookies -- you are just Marvelous Marvin!"

The mother turns to the older daughter, "Sarah, you hateful ugly pig! Such hate pours out of your mouth! You are so biased against Marvin, you hateful shrew! Go away! Up to your room and stay there. I can't stand to see you! I'm going to dump you on your deadbeat of a Dad, or call Children's Services and get you out of here!"

So answer my question, a different way, let's measure your honesty '47':

What do you think I am saying that they left out? What is the glaring deception I suspect in those statements by the Hawaiian officials?

Obama’s website produced some vague birth certificate that looked photoshopped. You wouldn’t qualify for a library card with it. It was good enough for the MSM. Case closed.

Then why all the hoo-haw about his mom, where she lived and for how long? Seems like overkill and makes the argument look like so much paranoia. One point, well argued, is far more persuasive.

This all comes under the Presidential Transition Act of 1963. So, other Presidential transition teams have had government furnished office space, they just have not infused with the trapping of an official governmental function. But then BO likes his majestic symbolism.

I have resolved in recent months to not play guessing games with people here, or on any discussion fora.

You tell me what you think they “left out” or we have nothing to discuss.

I have no idea what your analogy is supposed to illustrate. Maybe I’m stupid, or blind on this issue. It’s quite possible; I’m not being facetious. All people in the course of their lives miss at least one obvious fact.

So explain it to me, as clearly I can’t see. What I DO see though is, two people who have the ability, Fukino and Onaka, have personally viewed the ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE, (which is what everyone, namely Ambassador Keyes these days is demanding to see for themselves) and not just a “certificate of live birth” or a “record of birth”.

So we have as a matter of fact (unless one believes that these two individuals are involved in some kind of “conspiracy”) that the state of Hawaii DOES have an “original birth certificate” and not just a “certificate of live birth” or a “record of birth” or any other document that just wouldn’t do.

They have an original birth certificate, which would mean he is a citizen of the US REGARDLESS of who gave birth to him.

What more relevant issue is there at this point?

The governor of Hawaii is a republican. One point well argued may be more persuasive yet imagine how persuasive the MSM could be if they wanted to find out the truth and followed up on all the arguments? The MSM was also content with Obama’s lies that he didn’t know Ayers. After the election Ayers comes out and says they were family friends. Obama lied, no one cares. The truth will eventually come out, but it may be too late.

What is the mechanism to enforce the constitutional mandate regarding the citizenship status of a president? Does a candidate have to prove his citiznship status, and to whom? If not, why not? If the proof submitted is dubious, who has standing to challenge it?

My guess is that the powers that be have decided that the very real possibility of serious civil insurrection in the event Obama is belatedly found to be ineligible means the issue must be stonewalled at all costs.

Well they ought to think of the "serious civil insurrection" that will occur if the information leaks out, is even sort of verified, and the usurper does not immediately resign.

I do wonder if there is anything that could be said or done to convince some, maybe not you, that Obama is legit. Wouldn’t there be claims that anything released is a forgery? I admit to being skeptical of the motives of both sides in this argument. Obama parses words well and doesn’t say much when he does, but the other side seems pretty entrenched.
