The California secretary of state should refuse to allow the state's 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until President-elect Barack Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office, alleges a California court petition filed on behalf of former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and others.
The legal action today is just the latest is a series of challenges, some of which have gone as high as the U.S. Supreme Court, over the issue of Obama's status as a "natural-born citizen," a requirement set by the U.S. Constitution.
WND senior reporter Jerome Corsi even traveled to Kenya and Hawaii prior to the election to investigate issues surrounding Obama's birth. But his research and discoveries only raised more questions.
The biggest question is why Obama, if a Hawaii birth certificate exists, simply hasn't ordered it made available to settle the rumors.

What law enforcement body backs up the Supreme Court? What officers are in that particular Court House? Are there special police that deal with such matters. Surely not the "capitol police."
I'm sure you left out '40s, '50s, '60s, '70s, '80s, '90s, et al. Chicago PD hasn't changed during the entire reign of the Daly 'family'. If anything it has gotten worse, allowing ACORN, gypsies, and other 'children of crime' the run of the city. only the feds are snipping at crime in the 2nd city...locals watch and laugh as corruption grows more entrenched every day. Perhaps if we move that corruption to Washington, the local non-criminal element can get their city back....

Alan Keyes is a great American. Period.
And he's the third most liberal member of the senate if I remember correctly.
This country is screwed no matter what. The next 4 years are going to be bad. McCain would have made it slightly less bad, but remember his Gang of 14 and all the legislation he sponsored that supported the liberal Democrat agenda.
Obama has had two years to conjur up the best forged birth certificate that (campaign) money can buy - and if he is foreign-born, I'd be willing to bet he's already got it standing by just in case.
IMO this withholding the certificate is about something else. But what, I'm not sure.

An in camera review by a judge would keep any embarassing details that have no constitutional implications private, while confirming the geographical location of Obama’s birth.
What is the mechanism to enforce the constitutional mandate regarding the citizenship status of a president? Does a candidate have to prove his citiznship status, and to whom? If not, why not? If the proof submitted is dubious, who has standing to challenge it?
And given the practical realities of how we elect our presidents, isn’t the time to settle such questions prior to the election itself?

My understanding is that the Governor is just trying to keep any hanky-panky from going on. It is still available, following the established rules, i.e. only the selfsame person.
Well. IIRC and ran the numbers right (but it was early after the election), someone correct my numbers if out in left field, 52% of the VOTING population selected him. If only 34% (or thereabouts) of the eligible voters actually voted, then about 18% of this country elected this fraud.

It takes four Justices to agree for the Supreme Court to hear a case on appeal. Presenting Obama’s birth certificate in response to a Petition for a Writ of Certiorari is NOT going to happen however Obama’s lawyers might choose to include sworn affadivits in their filing for Justice Souter from the two Hawaii Department of Health officials who have seen Obama’s “vault copy” birth certificate and verified that it is genuine.

I’m a realist. I realize nothing will be done on this. Obama will be sworn in etc. Having said that we should continue to push this issue even after he’s elected. Continue the mantra that he is an illegitimate President. In fact we should just generally muck up the works wherever we can even if it doesn’t appear to bear fruit. Politics is about perceptions.
One would think a free and unbiased press would demand proof of eligibility during the campaign process, especially where the issue has been raised and insufficiently responded to. Unfortunately this has been demonstrated to be a mistaken assumption. A government solution such as FEC certification may not be the answer since the whole system seems to have been corrupted.
My guess is that the powers that be have decided that the very real possibility of serious civil insurrection in the event Obama is belatedly found to be ineligible means the issue must be stonewalled at all costs.

Would you ask to see the birth certificates of Jesus or
Mohammed? NO! The proof of their birth exists in sacred texts called the BIBLE and the KORAN.
