she is sounding robotic...uh oh
To: 2ndDivisionVet
Joe is a little too quick on the draw in his responses so far, it’s almost like he knows the questions already.

I wouldn’t even be able to speak. Of course she’s nervous.
This makes her human...not wrong!

Palin... doing good. Looks like even with the first question O’Biden, though pretty articulate is going to have a problem keeping his focus as wildly liberal as Obama.
Otherwise... lots and lots of tasty hot air with no substance.

I think they changed the poll. It now asks who won the debate? I saw that. I already voted for Sarah. ;-)

Sarah is not being Sarah. She is babbling the McCain “lines”.

She also mentioned small business owners which I understand she has some experience with.

Biden just misrespesented something McCain said about the economy, and Palin just slapped him down. WOOT!!

She’s doing a commercial for McCain - it strikes me as slightly weird. Is that what VPs are supposed to do in their debates?

Good comeback from sarah. You can tell she is starting to loosen up! The more comfortable she gets the better she will get.
To: RightOnTheLeftCoast
I have the feeling she’s a bit hamstrung by the McCain campaign.
Give her a minute to loosen up and shake the nerves.

Me, too. Neither the commentary or direct channels are working.
Good going, Fox. >:-(

I think she’s doing fine. He different voice inflections are wonderful. You can sense the passion in her voice.

good start for sarah, although a little more hammering on the dems
I'd prefer she stay away from anything having to do with soccer or hockey parents. That makes her look like a dingbat.
I'll give Sarah points for looking at Biden eye-to-eye - McCain seemed to have a problem looking at anything other than the podium or his feet or straight ahead.
Let's just hope Sarah doesn't say "Maverick" - people are starting to mock her and McCain over that.
To: 50cal Smokepole
I like how Sarah looked right at McCain when she explained what was meant when McCain said the fundamentals of the US economy were sound. She is not afraid of eye contact.
To: 2ndDivisionVet
Biden attacks McCain for saying the economy was fundamentally sound.
Palin defends McCain. [She winked. Personable.]
