Okay, folks. Let's keep an eye on this debate and see if Sarah can beat down hairplug.
*L* Go Cubs. But way to put Country First!
Be back in a bit closer to the debates. Going to eat something salty to tame my tummy
We’re having barbeque stuffed monkey bread in honor of what Sarah is going to do to Biden.
Please keep in mind how incredibly oversampled those polls are. Don’t give in to the propaganda. Think of it this way perhaps — in sports every team knows the risk they run if they become TOO confident. When one becomes over-confident they run the VERY serious risk of making stupid mistakes. Indeed, the same is true when one underestimates their opponents. Combine the two and you’ve got REAL problems.
Obama’s team has been saying he will win by a LANDSLIDE the last few days (despite the volatility of these polls, and the margin that barely covers the statistical error margins). IMHO, this will only have the effect of causing more Democrats to stay home thinking it’s “sewn up”. And, it will have the effect of assuring a higher turnout for the Republicans. I say let them keep talking! LOL They will end up looking like the fools, IMHO. :)
I feel like I shouldnt watch the debate...sorta like that feeling if you watch your favorite sports team play an important game, theyll lose because youre watching. ;o)
Jeeze... my husband always told me I was nuts when I did that!
Yeah, me too. But, I'll bet that Sarah can throw the cards on the table and explain to the nation that it's her job to support her CIC's agenda, while leaving enough between the lines to let us know where she really stands.
I highly doubt that any Presidents and their Vice Presidents have ever shared agendas 100%. She'll need to shame the audience with that, and make it a moot point.
She is very inspiring.
Pray for Sarah.
- "Ifills upcoming book is called The Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama. It, apparently, surveys the American political landscape, shedding new light on the impact of Barack Obamas stunning presidential campaign and introducing the emerging young African American politicians [like Newark Mayor Corey Booker and Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick] forging a bold new path to political power.
- The book apparently will be published on January 20th, 2009, Inauguration Day.
- It stands to reason that a book with such a title would sell better if a certain person is inaugurated on that day."
As opposed to AUNT Esther...
Eh, a girl can dream. Back to the real nightmare.
..
Placemarker for myself.
LOL...Oh my...
I have the Tylenol sitting right beside me. DId not bother reading that it is a fever reliever...I’ve been suffering for the past 10 hours with the solution an arms reach away.
What a spiritual lesson!
The only problem Ifill will have is when she makes the rounds on the talk circuit to sell her book she better hope Oprah does a good job for her cause the rest of the big hitters are all conservative.
I expect her to use it as a premise for National Health Care questions.ANy bets?
She fell the day before yesterday, if I’m not mistaken... Monday at the earliest. Regardless I imagine she will be on pain killers and high, and if not, I expect her to have a hard time being in a “good mood” due to the pain...
This could actually work to Sarah’s advantage. She might not be able to help herself if it starts to look like Sarah is kicking some serious butt.
No matter what Ifill tries to say about her ability to be “professional”, the fact that she didn’t disclose the book she was writing to the debate commission points to an extreme lack of ethics (and professionalism) on her part.
She made a comment in an article that was linked on Drudge saying that she doubted one day of talk in the blogosphere would damage her credibility. I hate to burst her bubble, but I doubt there are even Democrats if they are honest with themselves believe her to be an honest, ethical person. They might be celebrating this apparent coup for the Obama camp - however, privately they are probably thinking the same things we are right now.
