So here is the bottom line. While Palin may not have won on substance, she won the heart. She was the clear winner on swaying voters who may like McCain but were leery of her. She made them feel secure that she can handle the job.
You want to know who the BIG loser was tonight??? The MEDIA!!!! America is going to be more than a little pissed off after tonight! They have just figured out they have been fed all kinds of BS on what an “idiot” Palin is. They will NEVER listen to another thing the nasty media has to say about her again. And THAT is a HUGE win for McCain/Palin!!!
I just want to say publicly, thank you Lord for being with your humble servant Sarah tonight! Continue to bless her and protect her.

They are not media polls really. They are online polls in which people post links to on here, and DU, and KOS. The left hits those polls like crazy. Also, you will not believe how many PRO Obama gossip and fashion websites that exist out there and they also post links to these polls for people to hit.
These are VERY unscientific, and are designed to get websites hits.

Oberman and Maddow (MSNBC) just invited Sarah to be on their program to finally answer some questions. These two people are so PO’ED that she slam dunked tonight.
What makes the memory worse for Biden is that witnesses said that his wife seemed to be absorbed with something going on in the back seat and didn’t see the truck. The boys were in the back seat.

Well..as someone who had to stand in the same spot Biden found himself in - I have to say that was one moment that ‘ole plugs got to me.
Not that I would ever consider voting for him mind you.
But it goes to show how moments like that can be viewed very differently depending on your life experience, and I think it was a genuine moment on his part.

This was one of the most powerful moments of the night. Palin was proud of her country, its values, and American exceptionalism. But as she quoted Reagan, we are one generation away from losing it. I am sure Rush will go ga-ga over it.
