Okay, folks. Let's keep an eye on this debate and see if Sarah can beat down hairplug.
I don’t disagree, and I think the biggest attack points, early on, had to do with the bailout, Fannie, Freddie, etc, and there is no doubt in my mind that the campaign does not want to attack on that. Unfortunately.
Still, I think there were at least four major openings for attack that she missed, and she should have hit on at least one or two of them.
On the other hand, looking at the focus group stuff, sometimes I forget that these things need to appeal to the “undecideds.” Those people I like to think of as “brain damaged.” It looks like she did well with them, and that seems to speak to the SNL/MSM build-up (tear-down) leading up to this. So many people expected her to be a drooling idiot that the simple fact she can speak english and form coherent paragraphs vaults her far beyond waht they were told to expect.

This is no ordinary election. This debate will help McCain change the narrative, at a time when he needed the help. It will be a real boost.
I want to imagine her in a presidential debate where she can really cut loose. This woman can take down large animals. I want to see THAT woman more. :)

So was I but I switched over to MSNBC and heard Matthews say he felt like he was at a Spelling Bee where the contestant memorizes all the words. Wondered if he watched the rerun of the Obama/McCain debate as that description certainly applied there. Green with envy is my summation of MSNBC.
Jelous woman on CNN said Sarah Palin did not meet the test tonight of a VP candidate. Huh? However other pundit said she connected with people and the audience gauge indicated the same when she discussed domestic issues.
Excuse me, but I do not give much credibility to Luntz and his “focus groups”... Most of his participants come across as uneducated simpletons... and liberal nitwits. The fact that they think Sarah won does not give me much comfort.
Gov. Sarah Palin did wonderful.
I am so happy, one of my “hobbies” is painting and I want to even put her to canvas.
As we go into 2009, it may very well turn out to be the YEAR OF THE WOMAN.

Fred Thompson just said on Fox that he is so happy because Sarah has gone through so much from the MSM.
I thought Sarah was fantastic. Looked spunky, held herself beautifully and boy can this woman speak! It was a wonderful night! Thank God.

I will give Joe Biden a pass on this. There are times I will be talking to people about my little boy and start crying out of nowhere. It happens. I don’t think he faked that.
He lost a wife and daughter. His two sons were gravely injured. nuff said.
