The whole debate seemed intentionally rushed. The short time period for answers resulted in a shot gun approach that limited real substance, and I think was designed to ruffle Palin, and prevent O’Biden from getting too long winded and making a mistake.
the headlines tomorrow will be about Fossetts’ plane.....don’t want to mention that event of the century...since Sarah came across very very well....

I do agree with some here though that Sarah, while as cute as feisty as ever, did not answer many questions asked of her. I winced when Gwen was asking about the bailout and Biden went off on lack of republican regulation during the last 8 years, then when it was Sarah’s turn she said “Let’s talk about taxes”.
That was bad. Why do they refuse to hit the rats on this crap?
And she needs to never say the word maverick again. Never.

He's also tried to score political point by accusing the other driver of being drunk...though HIS wife pulled out in front of other driver.
This is really very sad, and I cannot imagine myself ever getting over this had it happened to me, but what was the context? Why did he bring this up?
She did start out a little fast and scripted for the first 15-20 minutes. After that she became herself. Not criticizing her. I think in most debates, the first 15 minutes or so the all debaters tend to be chitterly.
