She looked nervous at the beginning, but once she got past the economic questions, and into defense/foreign policy, she looked very confident. She needs to be schooled in free market economics. Her instincts are good, but she needs to be more knowlegeable.
She has often spoken in generalities (she's not a conservative intellectual, but a conservative woman of action), but in her defense, she has often blown by the questions to make points of her own, like comparing McCain's energy policy to Obama's.
Biden, on the other hand, mixes in a lot of policy specifics, which makes him sound knowledgeable, but is also often empty talk.
She disappointed me with the "support our public schools" crap, but she's from a family of teachers. Hopefully John will explain vouchers to her.
She also seems very positive and upbeat, which works well on TV. She's finishing strong. And now Joe's getting mad at the Maverick. He looks bad.

Remember...he maligned himself with the democrats on many issues. If she bashes Biden and Obama she bashes her boss.

It's a first for me. The only term that I've ever seen or heard used anywhere in the media is Bosnian.
Look, I know the difference between a quarterback and an armchair quarterback. The QBs are on TV, and the armchair QBs, like me, are on FR.
This has been pretty disappointing. It has gotten a little bit better as it’s gone along, but I nearly turned it off after the first 15 minutes because the message was so awful. She needed to attack hard, but she simply hasn’t. Biden has.
Cspan has split screen.
Biden keeps being given extra time! And Ifil’s VP questions were aimed at McCain’s age and Cheney.
I only wish Sarah were hitting Biden with the facts on the subprime mortgage crisis harder, telling the world that it was the Democrats who prevented John McCain from rescuing Fannie and Freddie years ago, and that it was the Democrats who forced banks to loan money to those who could not pay it back years ago.
Sarah's only fault is in being too nice and too real. Biden is a reptile who parrots lies and meaningless statistics. She should hit him and Thulsa Doom with hard facts that the pundits can verify tomorrow. The Democrats are sleaze dogs; whack them with a rolled-up C-Span.
