In this election we have very a clear choice to make.
A choice between Victory against Islamic Terrorism or surrender to our terrorist enemy.
A choice between free market capitalist economy or socialism.
A choice between constructionist judges or liberal judges who legislate from the bench.
A choice between Life for the unborn or abortion on demand going wild.
A choice between lower taxes or higher taxes.
A choice between small government or big government.
A choice between John McCain or Barack Obama.
Let us choose John McCain. A Patriot, a war hero, and would be an excellent President.

The ACU rating isn't the Holy Grail and I don't recall anybody on this thread saying that it was. So why setup such a strawman fallacy?
Anyway, the ACU ratings generally are a pretty good indicator of a congressman's voting record. Up thread I posted the ACU's 25 votes that they used for the 2007 rating. If you have other 2007 votes to add, have at it.

This one doesn’t look promising.
I am less than pleased about McCain being the Republican nominee and would love to do a "no vote" at the top of the ticket, but there is too much at stake now. And Obama is downright frightening and seems to become more so each week.

We need only look to the history of our first Revolution for that answer.
In my opinion, such a thing would begin spontaneously, after a small, but well informed group had simply had enough, and just one man stood up and said, "let's do something about it". That's how the first Revolution began.
It's in man's nature to fight back when he's been pushed to the point of near death, or destruction. These next four years could very well bring about such a perception amongst just enough good men, that they would "do something about it."

Your example of the ACU ignoring SC nominations was from 37 years ago. The ACU does use SC nomination votes in their rating. Most recently was in 2006.
