It was the carpet cleaners mixing the wrong chems...probably the old ammonia with chlorine, which will knock you out quickly. The air system carried the fumes a couple floors down.
Thank you BurbankKarl for the update.
That’s a mistake the carpet cleaners will make only once, I’m sure.

PACHUCA, MEXICO - THREE suspects confessed to strangling and cutting into pieces a woman and her three-month old daughter because they feared they were witches, police in this central Mexican town said on Tuesday.
Pachuca police spokesman Ms Norberto Munoz said the remains of the woman and her infant were found ‘with signs of having been strangled, quartered and burned.’
The three female suspects - who police have not named - were arrested ‘and declared that they committed the crime to stop supposed acts of witchcraft of the mother and her daughter,’ Ms Munoz said.
The remains of the victims were found in the ashes of a furnace in the town of Coyuya, an indigenous town in the mountain region of Hidalgo state.

STUDENT PLEADS GUILTY IN TERRORISM HOAX THREAT CASE
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma John C. Richter, United States Attorney for the Western District of Oklahoma, announced that JASON RAY SHANDY, 19, of Tuttle, Oklahoma, pled guilty today in United States District Court to falsely reporting a plot to bomb at the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO). In pleading guilty, the defendant acknowledged in open court that he called the Edmond Police Departments 911 Communications Center on April 22, 2008 and falsely reported that he had overheard three men talking about blowing up UCO. The defendant admitted that he knew it was false and illegal when he made the call and that he provided detailed descriptions in order that his false report would be believed. Under the terms of the plea agreement, the defendant agreed that his sentence could be enhanced by the Court based on his attempts to impede or obstruct the investigation in this case.
The defendant was indicted by a federal grand jury in May. The indictment alleged that around 10:30 p.m. on April 22, 2008, the defendant made an emergency 911 call to the Edmond Police Department reporting that he had overheard three Middle-Eastern individuals at a 7-Eleven talking about blowing up UCO. Based on the report, a comprehensive response was initiated by civilian and law enforcement authorities, including the Edmond Police Department, the FBIs Joint Terrorism Task Force, the Oklahoma County Sheriffs Office, the UCO Police, and the UCO Administration.
At sentencing, Shandy faces up to five years in prison, a $250,000 fine, and restitution which includes expenses incurred by the UCO, the UCO Police, Edmond Police and the Oklahoma County Sheriffs Office. A sentencing hearing will be set by the Court within approximately 90 days.
The case is a result of an investigation conducted by the FBIs Joint Terrorism Task Force, the Edmond Police Department, the Oklahoma County Sheriffs Office, and the UCO Police. The case is being prosecuted by United States Attorney John C. Richter.

“Couple loses job, home over art”
Jeff Johnson - OneNewsNow - 7/1/2008 10:20:00 AM
ARTICLE SNIPPET: “A married couple evicted from their apartment and fired from their jobs as managers of the complex is taking the owner of the complex to federal court. They claim their only offense was hanging a piece of Christian artwork in the office.
For more than eight years, Daniel and Sharon Dixon managed the Thornwood Terrace Apartments in Lake City, Florida. And for most of that time, a stained-glass portrayal of a lily with the phrase “Consider the Lilies Matthew 6:28” hung in their office. That was about to change when the company that owns the complex hired a new regional supervisor.”
