Short but serious question:
So, what's it gonna be folks? Turncoat RINO or America hating Marxist?
A bag of walnuts
But no water boarding or keeping prisoners awake all night.
However McCain is our best chance for the security of this country.
Welcome Back Jim!
time to revolt and take our gov’t back
all I got to say
Welcome back.
And you know what the answer has to be. The Country must not have Hillary or Obama as CinC. Symbolic protest votes are worthless when the Nation’s security is on the line, so I’ll swallow hard, and pull the lever for the one guy on the planet that has any chance of beating either of them in this election.
I won’t be the cause of having the democrats win, since I’d eat bucket of turds before I ever voted for a democrat. It is the GOP itself that has caused this conservative to write in a different Republican on my ballot.
I voted for Dole, reluctantly. I voted for GWB twice enthusiastically (granted, my enthusiasm has waned since he went back on his promise of no amnesty).
If the GOP wants a guy who wholeheartedly believes in Algores fiction and is the architect of amnesty for 20 million illegals and untold millions more via chain migration, then they must reap what they sew.
2012, we will be able to challenge both parties with a conservative. Now, I will vote for my state’s GOP gubernatorial candidate, conservative state and national congresscritters as avaialbel, and write in for President.
BTW, good to see you back in the saddle again, chief.
In ‘64 we ran a true believer. We lost but fortunately the Great Society made no lasting impression. Didn’t hurt a bit.
I fully intend to vote, just not for one of the bad choices. I did my part in the primaries, even though McCain was already certain. If I don’t pull the lever for the Marxist, my vote doesn’t count for the Marxist. I don’t play those games.
Because of Perot, we got the Republican Congress of 1994, which brought the GOP out of the wildnerness after more than forty years.
The GOP big boys were shocked that “Mr. No new taxes” lost 19% points of the vote to a third party candidate. They woke up and gave us the “Contract with America” Then GOP almost lost the whole shooting match in 1996 by running a lackluster candidate against a man who should now be in prison. Thanks, GOP!
That win in 1994 put the GOP on a trajectory to win in 2000 and 2004.
By the way, in both those years, the GOP would have lost without conservatives.
But, not to worry, we are not needed this year.
The folks who watch Ellen DeGeneres, they are going to vote in droves for McAmnesty. You wait and see.
I’m just looking for someone to help me vote against McLame. It may end up being a Montgomery Brewster write-in.
Do you really think McCain will do better than the 1.2 million votes President Bush lost by in California in '04.
It'll be the same thing in '08, Obamarxist will take the 14 communist counties of California and pull some 6.5 million votes.
Think again. RINOs like Charlie Crist & Lindsey Graham are high on McCain's Veep list. You think already-demoralized conservatives are going to be motivated to vote for McCain?
A truly AM sorry to hear that, pissant.
Neither.
It is unacceptable that any 'conservative' should vote for McCain. Neither should any libertarian-leaning conservative. He's just barely acceptable as a Republican!
You miss the point. The GOP itself caused this. You blame the conservatives for not voting for a lemon. Blame the party brass for throwing all their money and effort behind Rudy McRomeny instead of a conservative.
Turncoat RINO and hope the idiot picks a good VP\\
i’d rather rebuild from a RINO than 8 years of a black racist/socialist/western civ deconstruction/girly man whose only attribute I like is that he smokes
Hope you're feeling better! I'm keeping you on our Parish Prayer list!
Well, I’m not. If more conservatives stood on principle, we would not have lemons being nominated. After McCain destroys the last vestiges of conservatism the party had, you will understand.
It will sicken me since I disagree with him on many things but Obama is far worse.
Obama is the least experienced candidate for President in my lifetime.
Has he run anything bigger than a law school newspaper?
I am trying to find anything on meaningful employment in his lifetime. I am not sure “community activist” counts.
He has a closet full of friends with questionable backgrounds.
His pastor... really don’t need to say much else. I am not sure Obama went to church for his faith or “street cred”.
His wife is the most bitter millionaire in America.
He has no real legislative accomplishments. Some of his recorded votes are very disturbing.
No foreign policy experience and when he speaks on the topic it scares me to death.
etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.
With McCain I know he will screw me on immigration and harm our economy with environmental nonsense over a non-existent problem but at least he won’t have interns in his office who worship “Che”.
