Code Pink ejected on camera is great for the uninformed public.Agreed. They can drag them out slowly, so the American people get a good long look at the dem party base.

Chairman Skeleton was saying some choice words not knowing it could be heard. Could you tell what he was saying. It seemed to me that Skelton was unsure of his right and his left (when the mike wasn't working) so I am not too impressed with him.

You must be on the inside. Have you worked with King David? Still, you must admit he is intelligent and thoughtful about his work.

It seems the MSM has missed a lot of positive news like foreign investment in the energy infrastructure and other businesses as permitted by IRAQI LAW.

Absolutely, it is ESSENTIAL to the rebuilding of Iraq, in not in actual econimic gains, it leads to support and BELIEF in teh givernment of Iraq! The people themselves have to believe in it to support it, and the Government must have the support of its people in order to continue to better the lives of those people. Its all laid out in the Counter Insurgency handbooks that the Military makes available to the Soldiers on the ground, and is a LARGE part of what the surge is all about. Its all apart of the same foundation, and it all has to be built from the ground up. It is a testament to our Miliatary forces who are making all of that possible, a testament to the Iraqi People who are standing up, and by and large taking the hits, that are now making all the rest possible.
Cheers to each and every one of them!

That's part of it, but not all of it.
You and I are interacting in cyberspace right now. This whole thread is a cyberspace initiative.

Crocker now laying out the roles of Syria and Iran... Syria has been unhelpful and Iran is dangerous. Telling it like it is.

The Crocker testimony is the one the Dems are most concerned about. He doesn't have the name recognition that Petraeus has in this situation, and it would take too many spin resources to bring him up to equal standing. I think they'll ignore Crocker (who??) and continue to focus on Petraeus - at least so far as Code Pink-o/Move-on sloganeering is concerned.

he underwent five hours of surgery by Bill Frist, who a decade later became Senate majority leader.
For that deed and many more, Frist deserves a halo on his head.

That was my point, they will go after him no matter what. They want to lose. This is not new, did anyone on here think that regardless of what the general or Crocker said, regardless of how positive the Dems would change their minds.

I think it is just the monotone he speaks with that is distracting me...lol. I hope he has the gutso to stand up to the dems tiresome talking points later. I am not a big fan of the ‘diplomats’ from the State Department....lol
To: tobyhill
Watch the Dems try to impeach Crocker’s testimony. They are going to go after him hammer and tong. They have got to destroy his testimony.

I cheer their choice NOT to release the testimony until AFTER it was delivered. President Bush needs to do this so that the DBM will pay attention to his delivery instead of just waiting to pounce on a mispronunciation gotcha.

Thanks, rose. Hadn’t seen that. I need to blog about that, if I ever get caught up.

Yes the normal closing remark is “in closing” followed an hour later by “and to sum up” and then some where along the line “further”!

With the Bin Laden tape out, every time the leftist morons open their mouths they sound more and more like Bin Laden.
The contrast between the Rats and those who are working to make a better world will slowly but steadily work its will on the American public.
Things take time, and the Ambassador is now providing the kind of detail that General Petraeus provided. Their testimony provides the professional, level headed antidote to the ideologues of the Left who care for nothing but power. America is watching.

Here it comes: there will be drastic and disasterous consequences if we abandon Iraq - Iraq’s government would fall into chaos; Iran would take over; we would lose the gains we’ve made over alQuaeda “Our current course is hard; the alternatives are far worse.”
