He doesn't have the name recognition that Petraeus has in this situation, and it would take too many spin resources to bring him up to equal standing. I think they'll ignore Crocker (who??) and continue to focus on Petraeus - at least so far as Code Pink-o/Move-on sloganeering is concerned.
You may be right, but that is a shame. Crocker is addressing some of the most important points and showing wherre some important successes have occured.
