Funny, in the S.C. newspapers, they’re no longer referring to the items seized as “fireworks.” They’re calling them “pipe bombs.” BIG difference.
No problem ... great minds think alike. :-)
You’re both great minds and I haven’t seen the “fireworks” for awhile when checking for updates.
OPINION:
The lame-stream-media can only be so riduculous for so long before they finally have to get around to real reporting.
“motion in the backfield”
Football fan, eh?
Thanks for your concern. Talked to family there. All okay.
This kind of stuff “never” happens in Neosho. Quite a shock.
Dan Riehl asked me that last night in response to yesterdays post about the Roggios scoop. Answer, per the 9/11 Commission report: a-yup.
Mihdhar told his cousin that the attacks were to happen in May, but were postponed twice, first to July, then to September. Moreover, one candidate hijacker remembers a general warning being issued in the al Qaeda camps in July or early August, just like the warnings issued two weeks before the Cole bombing and ten days before the eventual 9/11 attacks. During the midsummer alert, al Qaeda members dispersed with their families, security was increased, and Bin Ladin disappeared for about 30 days, until the alert was canceled.
Theres a brief description in Chapter 4 too of Richard Clarke warning Sandy Berger not to wait until after an attack to hit the camps as theyd all probably be empty by then. Could be just a coincidence, of course, but if theres news in the next week or two of any prominent anti-AQ leaders being assassinated, hit the deck. Summer of chatter fever, baby. Catch it!

I’m glad your family was not affected.
Thanks RR for that update.
Thanks for the update and glad to hear you talked to your family.
History is a great teacher.
Thank you very much Oorang.

You’re most welcome Cindy.

Very sad. I am in Branson and have been at church all day. Glad your family is well.
So happy to hear that all is well with your family!
Having grown up in a very small midwestern village, I understand when you say that nothing like that ever happens there.
Sad to know that times have changed : (

No, NYPD would not act on Debka alone.
Even a few weeks ago, they were searching vehicles entering the Holland Tunnel.
