Bill O'Reilly makes claims about Freerepublic.com to spin us into a right wing hate site.
I think he struck just the right note with his tone and demeanor!!
He took the barb out of Bill's accusations by his softly spoken, humble answers and put the lie to Bill's rant that FR is a hate site.
Kristinn gave Bill no ammunition...
..and the proof of these accusations are in Bill's corner now.

Well, I don’t think Free Republic is a hate site, though I’m sure we could be wiser about certain things. But Daily Kos sure is.

I watched the “You Tube” video and have to agree with one comment that O’Reilly makes about some of the vileness expressed by some people on some of the threads.
For instance, the personal attacks. Most recently about the Hillary cleavage and disparaging comments about that.
It would seem to me that just sticking with the political issues ought to be good enough — not making comments about people who might be a bit chubby, or not as pretty as others.
And if it’s true that some lurkers are coming to Free Republic to post ugly, personal attacks to make Free Republic look bad, then maybe we all ought to hit the “abuse” button sooner and more frequently.
What happens when we hit the abuse button? Who responds.
No one person or moderator could possibly have the time to read through all the threads but when each of us finds something, we could police ourselves.
Simple. Internet sites like Free Republic are pulling audiences from the media warlords’ viewership.

Just curious — did anyone do a word search for yesterday the phrase that O’Reilly quotes about homosexuals?
But see what happened. I, like many of the posts I’ve read, have also stopped watching O’Reilly. He appears to have become a bully who constantly interrupts guests or just talks over them if they refuse to be interrupted.
That’s just plain old bad manners.
But I think he has somehow learned or discovered or realized that a lot of people have turned him off. So this is the first time I’ve watched him in months and months and months and did so only because I read that Free Republic was going to be interviewed (Kristinn did a great job, by the way).
It’s just too bad that O’Reilly has become so rude. But you can’t not go on because he’d just sit there and say, “We invited Free Republic but they declined to be interviewed.”

FR is made up of moms with kids in Iraq, retired military, veterans in wheelchairs, black people, white people--Americans all.
You and Johnny Sutton have the same disease-- a "staff infection". I would fire them for their incompetant research which mischaracterized this important public forum.
Ask Laura Ingraham, Ann Coulter, Ollie North and Michelle Malkin if this is a racist and hateful website.
