We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.
One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to rule over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.
All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.
FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?
Do you really expect me to do that?
We'll never make it to 10K at this rate ;^)
Please point me to the specific clause in the constitution that recognizes personal choice.
You’re a very young male, right?
This whole conversation is pointless and I agree with Mom MD that it is a fantasy proposal. Silly and pointless.
“If you still want women to have a “choice”, you still want them to be able to choose abortion.”
Can’t we just get the government to pass a law FORCING them to transfer their ‘non viable mass’ to someone else?/s
I’m sure that’s the ‘choice’ Just Sayin has in mind!
He’s pro abortion - just won’t admit it! Even to himself apparently.
It is up to you to make your point clear. Quintilian framed the rule centuries ago: Do not write so that you can be understood, but so that you cannot be misunderstood. When you complain that others do not understand you correctly, you are only confessing that your point is muddled or that you write badly.
As it appears that the 'auto de fe' part of this thread has ended, a topic change was inevitable.
Yippee, more big government.
I’m done - I have received no answer from just sayin on any points that tear down his little fantasy.
Feel free to carry on with the main point of the thread. Sorry, I just cant let people that would allow the continued slaughter of the innocent get a free pass!
I wonder how the research is going? What kind of progress he’s made in fetal transplants. After all, he did say he was working towards that goal.
Is he in the medical research field?
I'm thinking, I'm thinking. Stop nagging.
mmmm
I don't suppose it was the Interstate Commerce clause?
I dunno. He said he was working towards the goal of other options besides abortion or carrying the pregnancy full term. I’ve heard of no political efforts in this area. But they wouldn’t be credible if there wasn’t some way to actually do it first, so the logical conclusion is that when he says he’s working towards the option, that it must be medically related.
“Im done - I have received no answer from just sayin on any points that tear down his little fantasy.”
That’s because Just Sayin is spending all of his/her time going over OLD posts instead of reponding to the new ones.
You could be waiting all day!
:0)
I was alive when the pill was invented almost two generations ago and have been shocked at how it affected our society and how it had the opposite of the (predicted ) effect on pregnancy.
Evidently there is more going on between the sexes than science can measure and control.
My prediction that I make when the possibility of an easy, effective, male, birth control method such as a pill hitting the market, is mentioned, is that it will result in a new Victorian style modesty and sexual discipline sweeping the female sex as they fight to regain their sexual power.
Bless you.
“I wonder how the research is going? What kind of progress hes made in fetal transplants. After all, he did say he was working towards that goal.”
Somehow, and maybe it’s just me, I missed the page where her/his ‘credentials’ in this field are missing.
Maybe I should check again?
Naw!
“Yippee, more big government.”
That’s the only way this ‘idea’ would be viable.
Any other way, and it’s still a ‘choice’ to abort and doesn’t solve a thing.
“Thats because Just Sayin is spending all of his/her time going over OLD posts instead of reponding to the new ones.
You could be waiting all day!”
