We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.
One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to rule over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.
All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.
FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?
Do you really expect me to do that?
What the heck are you talking about? She left of her own volition.
Yes! Mein Fuhrer!
I see you’re keeping company with a fellow braindead-deadender. LOL Carry on.
I can neither speak to anybody else, or fathom why it is you miss it.
There have been many false claims made by Rudy supporters to discredit conservatives. One involved a claim that Reverend Land said he would vote for Hillary. When explored, the quote was false.
So when another rudy supporter made reference to “freepers” who said they would VOTE for Hillary, I simply asked for names. It wasn’t my claim, it was hers. However, her response was that I would have to go find her evidence for her.
If I made a claim about something, I would accept responsibility for researching the claim.
But if you are going to make claims, you should back them up with something more than just restarting them more loudly, as if shouting proves it.
I could believe that someone said it, I want to see the proof. The three “proofs” offered so far were not proofs, and did not say what I was asking about.
Well, torches are passed, and the knowledge transmitted- and here the word ‘torch’ was used for ‘knowledge’. In olden days they would have taught him that bit of info in medical school, and nowadays they do not. BTW, everyone else present there laughed uncontrollably, for all of us imagined the same situation with future doctor dispensing this very bit of an advice. I even had to give him a xerox copy of Aristotle’s page, with the paragraph of interest highlighted.
Jim. Time to tone it down a bit?
“However, I’m going to be perfectly honestly. I’ve grown to hate some of the anti-Rudy crowd so much, because of their own visciousnes. It’s gotten to the point where I’ve gotten up from the computer and talked to myself about how much I’d like some face time with some of the more vile posters as I walked down the hall to get a glass of water.”
From the state’s legislative website, I was able to determine that Reagan’s 1967 law remained unchanged until SB 1301 was introduced (and passed) in 2002. While I don’t know how to find a clean copy of the pre-existing legislation, the link below will take you to the mark-up version of the first proposed changes to the law. In other words, if you ignore the italics (new provisions) and accept all of the strike-out text (deleted provisions), you should be able to read the law as it was signed by Reagan.

The legislative analysis of the proposed change provides a summary of the 2002 changes, as well as a history of the law and summary description of pre-existing law.

This is a good timeline of California abortion law and court rulings through March 1998 (from Planned Parenthood). There were many changes to funding and related statutes, but apparently the core of the legislation was not changed:

Yep, much safer there!
And do you believe her? If so, do you have any evidence?
No reason to stop a thread just because one person can’t handle a little heat.
I’m still strugglin’ to understand how Mia T. got on that list?
Yes comrade.
Good day, owf
I’m not sure that would be needed but they do out themselves as borderline trolls by doing that all the time.
Actually some of the best coverage as seen in pictures of what the president does from day-to-day is seen on the "Day in the Life" thread.
When Cheney or the President make a trip abroad, or when leaders from other countries come to the US, on no other thread do I see the events illustrated.
in my eyes a distinction without a difference.
I have not left my post. I am standing my ground.
I am voting my conscience. This battle is not over.
