Will FR embrace socialism to make way for Rudy Giuliani as a Republican presidential candidate?

We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.
One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to rule over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.
All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.
FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?
Do you really expect me to do that?

The GOP enthusiastically supported Arnold....and now Rudy’s the front runner....
I don’t thing the party has learned the lesson of 2006 yet.

This is the forum that largely chose Alan Keyes as the presidential candidate in 2000 so I’m not terribly worried that they don’t like Rudy. LOL

Unfortunately it has already. Conservatives can also fight back by distancing themselves from the socialists in the Republican party and form a Conservative party.

I agree. Rudy is overrated and wasn’t to be feared to begin with. He won’t get the nomination. But the Rudywars threads are pure classics.

Do you really expect me to do that? A RESOUNDING NO on both counts. Let's join together for Conservatism and a Conservative Candidate. Let's not settle for what the media/social intelligentsia want us to settle for.

So are you saying conservative ideals don’t have a snowballs chance in hell.
Are you espousing the “anybody but Hillary” campaign. What if the dem candidate happens to be Obama...then is it anybody but Obama.
Why not just vote for anybody then.

For conservatives I guess the choice is between getting 75%-80% of what we want or getting nothing.
Like it or not, the candidates preferred by this board Fred Thompson, Newt Gingrich, Duncan Hunter, et al are certain losers.
So, does perfect become the enemy of as good as we're likely to get?

Will you embrace Rudy Giuliani when he is the exact same thing as Hillary on all of the above listed issues?
To: Jim Robinson
I know you to be a loyal Republican. The fact that Rudy is affecting you and other loyalists this way tells me that for the first time in modern politics, the GOP runs the risk of allowing a true third party threat to take shape in 2008. They won’t be able to win but it will ensure a Hillary presidency. She must be loving the idea of a Rudy nomination.

What ever gave you the idea that Rudy would nominate conservative justices to the court? That, is the conservative wing's biggest issue with him.
To: Jim Robinson
Will FR embrace socialism to make way for Rudy Giuliani as a Republican presidential candidate? In the latest FR poll, Giuliani is only getting about 6-7% of members' opinion. The vast majority of us are NOT on board with Rudy the RINO. I would vote third party before I would vote for a pro-abort, pro-homo candidate who doesn't understand the Constitution.

I’d long for 75%. Hell, Rudy isn’t even 25% of what I want and he’s 100% of what I outright reject!
To: Jim Robinson
Despite the global warming B.S., hell has yet to freeze over, so NO, Rudi does not get my vote. Only when hell has frozen over will Rudi, McScream or any other Marxist LIBERAL get my vote!!!
