Will FR embrace socialism to make way for Rudy Giuliani as a Republican presidential candidate?

We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.
One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to rule over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.
All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.
FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?
Do you really expect me to do that?

>>>>>>The purge has not been something we should be proud of, no matter the reasoning or justification. If Free Republic was to move back on a more conservative track for the 2008 election cycle, purging this forum of undesirables was a necessity. This forum has always been hostile towards liberals and liberalism. Its the job of all FReepers to advance conservatism, promote conservative candidates and defend the Constitution. For too long the conservative goals and objectives of this forum have been undermined and that needed to stop.

What Howlin did most of the time was to set out to destroy anyone who dared disagree with her centrist-pragmatic form of politics. She didn't like conservatives or conservatism, and she expressed that up until her last week on FR.
Good riddance to a meanspirited, vindictive and troubled soul.
Amen, brother.

DC has a running thread going right now copying and pasting stuff from here and laughing their butts off. Here is a link.

Regardless of what is posted over there today, Howlin assured me that WA is in NO WAY, an anti-Freeper site. Then why do they keep their anti-FReeper thread private? FReepers who I trust completely have seen the caches of it and assure me that it is as bad as any of us say.
Regardless, Howlin made a post on FR saying that conservatives have their "foot on the throat of Republicans." Is THAT acceptable to you?

Yes, I agree that we should be allies. I do feel that the current FR fracas is counterproductive.

That must be one great set of blinders you've been wearing over the years.
Count me in on the blinders - except for the Terri threads. I post here but didn't get caught up with 'office politics'.
However, the blinders came off reading some posts and the disrespect shown to Jim. I was shocked with that and the antics some were engaging in on other site(s) against FR in years past.
But I can't fail to mention how I was called names because I ask them to tone it down with their name calling and abusive combative ways. Since I wasn't 'in the loop', I didn't know at the time they had on-going issues with certain posters and they were venting. I got caught in the crosshairs.
So, just because someone posts here, doesn't mean they knew the dynamics behind the scene - until now.
To: wagglebee
Then why do they keep their anti-FReeper thread private? Thats a good point ...it makes me think this Bush administration is up to no good ...they may be worse than Nixon

“Regardless of what is posted over there today, Howlin assured me that WA is in NO WAY, an anti-Freeper site.
Bottom line, I believe her.”
Believe what you want. It isn’t hard to go and see for yourself exactly what’s going on over there. I really could careless about those sites, and I’m sure that JR could careless about them, but don’t sit here and tell us that there isn’t any anti=freeper stuff going on over there—there’s tons of it. Sure, there are many topics on their sites, but they have one or more exclusive threads dedicated to FR and doing what they can to disrupt this place.
You may have a lot of respect for Howlin, I don’t. After she posted that comment about the Republican party being tired of having their neck stepped on from conservatives, that sealed the deal for me.

DC is where ex-FReeper members of Densa Society meet to feel the bumps and knobs on each other's heads.
WA is just one long, stultifyingly boring, Rudy rally.
The only commentary that enlivens either site are the FR-oriented threads. Both groups are obsessed with FR only slightly less than they are obsessed with atheism/materialism (DC) and Giuliani/social liberalism (WA).
