We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.
One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to rule over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.
All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.
FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?
Do you really expect me to do that?
So far, I have counted 46. Some I’ve kept track of that people have reported on here from other threads. I think there may be a few I am missing, though.
Did you catch this post?
It’s worth a read, IMO.

I think you're overstating things considerably. That is either because you lack the full context of this saga, or that you are willfully ignoring the fact that virtually every one of the dearly departed worked hard to earn their banishment.
I don't know you, so I can't comment on which it might be.
The count is pretty meaningless at this point.
Some are such overachievers that they have apparently been zotted twice, under different names.
They may be on their third round already.
However, if being “safe for conservatism” means at ANY cost - ((and that’s sure the demeanor it’s taken here lately)) - then I’d just assume not be part of it.
Puzzling post. You have set a condition that you perceive as being met. You state if the condition is met you’d sooner not be part of it...and yet you’re still here. I hope that is not your intention. I think your over reacting.
Absolutely brilliant.
You’re posting without *gasp* undies?????
TMI!!!!!!!
:)
“All this brouhaha over a man that probably won’t get the Republican nomination.......I think it’s just an outpouring of distrust for a New York Yankee.”
LOL, the Stankees are in last place, but Giuliani is in first.
Only you would catch that! :)
Oh, and BTW....I think it's more than that...it's taking a stand for GOOD VALUES...stuff we SHOULD be concerned about...I want my boy growing up in a Judeo/Christian society....just like I was allowed to.
Now go get dressed!!!
:)
OK, I will. You asked:
Whenever I see comments like yours, I always ask the poster the same questions: Do you think that Rudy can take Texas? And, if not, how can Rudy win the presidency without Texas?
The only way I can reply is with questions myself:
Do you honestly think that Texas would vote for Hillary instead?
Do you honestly think that Texas would vote for B. Hussein Obama instead?
Does Texas have a primary?
When is it?
If they _do_ have a primary there, let's wait and see how Rudy does in it. Then come back and post your questions again.

Yes, I read the post. And your point would be what??
Many of you are fine and dandy with the new tone of FR, and many are not.
Yet, you seem to be missing this one simple point: As you purge the “liberals,” you’re also one the verge of loosing some conservatives as well. Is that what you _really_ want to happen? That helps the conservative movement how?
If that is what Jim and the mods want to do, then so be it. It’s their house. But just because I’m a guest in someone’s house doesn’t mean that I’m going to sit quietly as I watch a suicide.
And on the flip side of that, I’ve spoken with GREAT long standing Freepers who would NOT post due to the way things were...and are considering coming back.
Ya can’t please all the people all the time...I wish everyone well in their new home(s). I honestly do...
LOL!!!!!
“As you purge the liberals, youre also one the verge of loosing some conservatives as well.”
The liberals are purging themselves. If conservatives are leaving this site, then they don’t want a conservative site. There will be many to replace them during the 08 election cycle and they will be fresh and hungry for conservatism.
I’m not trying to be sarcastic, but I don’t find my post to be puzzling at all.
I have set a condition that I perceive to be in the PROCESS of being met. If the process continues to completion, then I will no longer remain a member of this forum. The mechanics of my likely departure are yet to be determined (i.e., do I get banned, or do I just say the hell with it all and leave FR voluntarily).
In the meantime, however, I will try to voice my dissent - in a hopefully positive manner - in hopes of bringing just a little bit on sanity to this otherwise toxic situation.
I know some will argue with you, but that is what happened. I hope it doesnt happen again.
