Oh, Meg, your Kitty Table is just Precious, and I Love that Smokey-Gray Kitten! I had a Kitty about 20 Years Ago that was a Similar Color to him.

A Male Cardinal and his Wife Here in the Metroplex are Brightening my Day, Along with a Sweet Little House Wren. At my Other Place, the King's Ranch, a Pair of Birds has Moved Into the Old Barn Swallow Nest on my Back Porch; they Appear to be Phoebees, but I didn't Think there were Any of those in my Area.

Equal Time





It has been noted here, in ways succinct and recent
That Puppies have not been mentioned here in numbers decent
And proportional to holding the title of "Man's Best Friend"
Those other critters are mere pretenders and should make amends!

For exaggerating their abilities in ways we Canines cannot comprehend
For a Puppy would not spend most of a day Outside idly pondering silly things
When there's bright Sunshine and the joy and warmth it brings
Along with Little Ones taking tiny steps both wobbly and slow
Who like Kittens, are always looking around and don't know which way to go!

As long as we are not distracted by a noisy bird or bouncing Ball
We Puppies will always be there to help a Little One after a fall
Running around while coaxing and barking as the toddler slowly stands
Making us more responsible than Kittens, which is Our Heritage Grand!

We ask Lord, that You guide the leaders of our great country in their hour of decision. The burden that has been placed on their shoulders is overwhelming. We ask that with Your infinite wisdom You guide them gently to the right decisions.

Please give us the strength, Lord, to get through each difficult and devastating day that faces each of us and our country. Protect and guide our Military that are now being called to duty, strengthen them in their trials and temptations; give them courage to face the perils which beset them; and grant them a sense of your abiding presence wherever they may be; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
