Rush reports that a Cessna has been reported as crashing into (at least one) apartment complex in NYC Mannhattan's upper east side - on East 71st Street.
S.O.P..... This is not terror related, although no one knows what happened. Driver ran over 14 people in S.F. last month, declares he is a terrorist at arrest, MSM reports not terror related.
One of the slimiest tricks is to announce "We have no evidence of terrorism." They just did this and Shep Smith is now saying "It's not terrorism" which is not the same thing. An honest person would say "We don't know."
And the difference is???
Father God, You are Creator of heaven and earth. We don't know what is going on right now, other than what we can see. You know everything, You've known it since before the creation of the world. We ask that You would comfort those who are affected directly by this accident and its aftermath. If there are those who are trapped, Lord, we ask for Your help in rescuing them. That's all we can do. Our words are inadequate, but Yours give life. Our best deeds are as filthy rags, but everything that You do is good and just.
And so we ask for Your hand on everyone who is addressing this now...the firefighters, the NY police, the citizens, the tenants, everyone, Lord, please bless them. Lord, please be with our President. Your Word says to pray for those who are in authority, and we ask for Your Spirit to give President Bush increased strength and wisdom in how to address this, and to deal with this.
Lord, we call out to You. We cry out to You. Please help us. And we thank You in advance for what You will do, and whether in plenty or want, in joy or sorrow, in any situation, we will bless Your name. In Christ's name, Amen.

On her final radio broadcast she was giving a report of a tractor trailer and a car getting into an accident and a car fire. She also stated that the outbound Holland Tunnel was heavy with traffic and that the Lincoln Tunnel was much better with traffic and a car fire. Dornacker was starting her report for incoming New Jersey traffic when the helicopter stalled in mid broadcast.

Clarification: Until evidence to the contrary comes out, I'm calling this a terrible accident. I realize people are edgy, but my opinion is that wild-eyed theories really don't serve any productive purpose right now.

I remember hearing that. I think her name was Jane Doornacker. It was horrible to listen to as it was going down and she was screaming to "hit the water".

It's extremely overcast in New York today, so I could understand a pilot not seeing the building, but what was he doing flying in an area of tall buildings?
Is this neighborhood near a flight path?

Yikes! Last week my wife as one block from there, having gotten surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery.
