Rush reports that a Cessna has been reported as crashing into (at least one) apartment complex in NYC Mannhattan's upper east side - on East 71st Street.
Ome hour, eight minutes since the initial post of this thread.
No word of additional attacks.
If this is terrorism, a lone wolf seems more likely than a coordinated attack.

Not in any fire department I'm aware of. Fourth alarm is generally 12 to 16 engine companies, plus aerial ladders, rescue units, one or more batallion chiefs, frequently a division chief, and a lot of ancillary gear. With New York's staffing, we're talking close to 200 guys.
Now MSNBC is reporting it was a "Cirrus 20", a pretty recent model 4-seat airplane. No source given for that news, though.
I believe Mary has a daughter Carol.
Where's FEMA? What the hell is the president doing, reading to little kids? They should have been in NYC yesterday passing out free $2000 credit cards to anyone who has ever seen a plane or helicopter! ;-)
Come on Nancy Pelosi, you're too slow! Find a camera and get on there! Ask Jesse Jackson how to do it. We need some entertainment while we wait for more news. BTW, bring Harry Reid along, too.

What? No UFO's piloted by glowing green creatures?
Jumped out of the airplane? OK, that makes NO sense. "Gee, I'm in this plane doing 120 knots straight for a 41-story apartment building...I think I'll undo my seat belt, pop the door, climb out on the wing, fling myself off, and fall 300 feet into the river! Hey, it'd work for Macgyver!"
That's even weirder than the fact the plane hit the building in the first place.

The only pics I've seen were on television or on the Internet. For the record, I don't think it was terrorism. But we should know much more later.
I predict a federally funded puppet show at Lincoln Center before the month is out.
I cant believe this was an accident. This is not where private small aircraft fly. They fly up and down the Hudson

Fox NYC reports two construction worker saw plane trying to avoid hitting the building and make it to the river (it was flying west to east).
My latest opinion: tragic accident.
