Thank you for putting it so clearly and succincntly. Oh, the politicians and judges will bow to public pressure and will concoct "a way" or "a procedure" to ensure that these terrorists are safely dealt with, but they'll do it in a manner that seriously damages the Constitution. That is their ultimate goal. These other rationalizations are simply whistling past the graveyard.

Specter has also pushed through all the appellate justices. He has been marvelous. If you're going to criticize, you have to give credit, too.
It's like DeWine. As much as I hate the guy, he has been one of the most consistent pro-life votes ever in the Senate.
That's why we're still one short. I think we'll get two justices in the next two years, and that will be that.

It takes millions of stones, well-dressed and well-placed, to build a nation. Accept the fact that, if you simply keep placing stones, you may, one day, find yourself in the position of placing a critical stone at a stretegicalyl important point in the structure. Though such an event ought not be overly heralded, neither ought it be understated or waved off. It is what it is, and only time will tell what it may become.
For the now, "the workman is due his wage". Therefore, accept it as legitimately earned capital over which you must be a faithful steward. In this way, you will fall neither into false humility nor boastful pride, but will contentedly walk the high and narrow path trod by that one who understands that what he has received is neither more nor less than he is due.
