Looter are armed gang situation worsening.
Steve Harrigan just reported from NO. He was with a lot of guys with small boats who were attempting to rescue some of the people left in flooded areas. FEMA told them to stop because some boats were being fired upon.
I said it before the death of America will be the enemy who lives amung us. This situation proves it.
I can't believe freepers are saying such hateful things about these poor people!!! What meanness...What nastiness...oh, I think I'll just go cry myself into a stupor...

Don't you want to scream when you see people posting that it is God's revenge or something similar? A lot of good people have been affected by all of this and it is unfair to those people in three states to make such comments IMHO!

Even the Quarter is not "pure" evil. There is a huge Basilica there, and the old historic Ursuline Convent is also in the Quarter. With the Basilica, the lovely statue of Jesus Christ stands out in the courtyard. I don't know how this statue is faring now, but the day after the hurricane, a huge tree fell on the courtyard, just inches from the statue, sparing it. That doesn't seem "godless" to me. Perhaps you'd be better off taking your judgment elsewhere.

The enemy is alive and well... and I see this now more than ever. Those who rely on God will be the only hope.
It will in all honesty. My bleeding heart liberal dem sister finally understands what I have been saying for years. I just pray that there are many more like her who finally get it.

At first, when I saw the suggestion to send them to Marin County, CA, it ticked me off. Then I remembered that Sen. Barbara Boxers lives in that county. I'm sure she'd love to have them for neighbors. gitmo would be a good overflow facility.

Voodoo is popular among many down there. Some of them congregate around the Catholic cathedral (not in it, maybe they actually go in, I don't know.) It's been going on for years.

N.O. is not all bad. However, those thugs who are shooting our heros are making it look like the land of evil. There has always been the presence of VOODOO and party capital. It just could very well be that evil is out in full force, but My God is more powerful than any other source. He is not the one showing the thugs... that is apparant by the ones who are shooting. Good will always win... always.. as long as the good out weigh the evil ones.
