Yes, I posted that a little bit back. Chilling.
I'm still not clear on that. Maybe it was a joke because I never heard an update/clarification on if people were leaving the superdome or not... I hope not!
Are the cable stations able to get crews out to the various places outside NO proper to show this type of flooding?

I saw them doing their live shots from there last night; Cantore was POSITIVE that they were safe because it was a vets' home!
Simply amazing.
Does anyone know if Steve Harrigan was admitted to the hotel or if they're making him stay outside?
Thank you so much for the report on those ships.
Service station owners must pay for the gas they're now selling. With the real possibility of increased costs to them for their next load, they must make money now to pay for it when it is delivered to them. That's the explanation I got from an owner.
They just mentioned "GATORS" a short
while ago.

Are posing a threat or night?
Yes, please cite your source! Although I'm safe with friends in Georgia, my home is (or was) in St. Bernard Parish.
Supposedly in Hurricane Betsy, my area stayed dry, while a section known as Arabi was flooded to a depth of several feet. Arabi is adjacent to the 9th Ward of New Orleans, where the levee break reportedly took place. Both are supposedly flooding as they did in Hurricane Betsy. Also, parts of St. Bernard lie completely outside the hurricane protection levees. Flooding can vary widely, and St. Bernard is large, so any details will be much appreciated!
I hate when people like this "state senator" make blanket statements. Kinda like FOX saying earlier that the "area south of Lake Pontchartrain is completely flooded." ALL of New Orleans is south of the lake!
And if she hasn't been out there for the last four years, etc., crying out for improvements in NO and surrounding areas, THEN SHE HAS JUST BLAMED HERSELF.
This is something her next opponent may want to bring up during the next election.
It is what freepers know as "herding cats". Nothing new under the sun.
Thanks for the clarification. I also heard on the tv that somewhere there's 100 people on their roofs waiting to be rescued. Missed the info on the location. God be with them.
I thought the same thing when I saw him out there with those goggles on this morning.
