The Heart of Texas Chapter of FreeRepublic.com is holding a rally in Crawford, Texas today to show America's support for our troops, President Bush and the war on terrorists in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere around the world.
The rally will be held at noon at the Crawford Civic Center at 1000 4th Street.
Freepers are coming from near and far to join the H.O.T. Chapter in Crawford. If you live within four hours drive of Crawford, it's not too late to hit the road and get on down there.
Folks in attendance will be calling in to me, Brad's Gramma and Jeff Head with live updates from the scene. I am told that cellphone coverage in Crawford is spotty. However, it may have gotten better of late.
We'll see.
Hat's off to Basil, Doctor Raoul, The Sarce and 2ndAmendmentMama (and anyone else) who've been scrambling the past two days to make this happen. Good luck!
Mark Simone will be sitting in for Mark Levin this coming week. He's a local NY metro area personality. I don't dislike him, he's ok. But only the first name's the same, if you catch my drift! I guess I'm just too big of a Levin fan.
Fellow Freepers our wonderful. They are not only informed, intelligent, insightful, caring ,kind, attractive and neatly dressed they stand up for what they believe in.Thank You Free Republic, you make me proud!
Thanks for the ping. She is a real cutie.
Great picture, ValerieUSA!
Media bias? WHAT media bias? /sarc
The Code Pinkos Wackos have despicable behavior. After alerting their TV media cohorts, they threw a dirty 'pink slip' over the head of Congresswoman Katherine Harris when she arrived to speak to a local Florida Republican Club.
Two of them got inside the meeting in the guise of being 'new members' and then jumped up waving their dirty pink underwear at Harris when she began her speech.
Members chanted loudly so their 'hate speech' could be heard on the TV videotape. Then Pinkos were promptly ejected.
And from what I've read, were there out of support for our President and country, as opposed to being there on a paid basis, or following a way left agenda (for obvious reasons to thinking people)...
We had such a short time to rally these folks; however, it was a great turnout. Quality turnout. The folks here were very nice, patriotic, and what we would consider Americans. I do agree, however, the flags pictured earlier look weak. I do have some pics with Harleys with gargantuan flags! Now that's impressive! I did not see any PINK Harleys!
Yeah, that Trump sign was a non-sequitor for sure. The guy was just a troll.
Yeah, I catch your drift...there's nobody like Levin!! Maybe I'll just wait till he gets back instead! I'll consol myself by listening to Tony Snow. Love his show, too. Very different from Mark, but good.
Rep. Weldon on FOX today,he is not letting up.
I loved it when he said he would like to have the
9/11 Comm. staff put under oath.
Gorelick and Sandy Burgler may have an orange wordrobe
in their future. :)
LOL! They're FReeper celebs now! Also, love the fact that they wore their Gitmo gear to support our troops, AND aggravate the left. They had it ALL goin' on!
Finally a Representative of the people with some BACKBONE
"an antiwar group founded by Ben Cohen, one of the creators of Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream -- hired Fenton Communications, a Washington public relations firm that has worked intermittently with Sheehan over the past year to coordinate media coverage."
I didn't buy any Ben & Jerry's after I heard they were left wingers supporting sKerry (who served in Viet Nam). It appears I have another reason not to buy their over-priced (though I've heard it's good) ice cream.
WHOO HOOOOOOOOOOOO
I haven't been able to catch much tv today. Had some errands this morning then Mr.FF wanted to go see March of the Penguins!
That show requires a BOX of kleenex.
I told my husband that I didn't know if Fox had planned for this special to air tonight long before Cindy Sheehan's protest...but if it was "luck"...
they really did get lucky, IMHO...that show is the perfect antidote to anti-troop, anti-war, anti-Bushitis!!!
Thank you!!!!!!!
I'm proud to say I've never liked Ben & Jerry's ice scream. I'm strictly a soft-serve fan so I don't even like Baskin Robbins. [ducking]
