Savage would have been best, then Luttig. But Roberts is much better than Clement or Jones. There is always the chance Bush will nominate Savage for the Rehnquist seat, so I'll keep my hope alive.

But, Ms. Brown STILL has a shot because the great odds are there could be two more picks to come. I think Renquist will not make it so there is one. And I feel death or illness will force one of the others out (hopefuly Ginsberg who has had cancer).
The only thing the left can hold against this guy is abortion. If they make a stink, they're the "baby killing party" and all they care about is killing babies!!!.
From the looks of him on the other issues, it is difficult to imagine that he fell off the map on that one.

I think you're right about everything except Brown. I just think it's too sudden for her to make such quick jumps, and it's un-Bush-like. But Jones, yeah.
