The Island is 6 to 7 miles deep by about 20 miles long

B-1 = California Lighthouse - where the boys claim they took her first after leaving the Bar.

D-3 = #4 is the location of the 2 Marriott Hotels - where the 2 brothers (and now Joran) claim they dropped Joran and Natalee off after leaving the lighthouse -  the 2 brothers claim they went home to Hooiberg after that.

D-3 = #19 is the location of the Holiday Inn where Natalee was staying.

G-5 = Where the red #2 marker is pointing to is the area that the Carlos & Charlie Bar is located

D-4 = Township of Montana is where Joran lives

F-7/8 = Hooiberg (Haystack Mountain) - The 2 Kalpoe brothers live in this area at the foot of the Haystack Mountian.

C-9 = By the Natural Bridge on the map is the location where the sharks hang out as they are fed at this location. This is the Shark Infested Feeding Area.

E-3 = Wetland in the Bird Sanctuary is the location where they found the Condoms/Condom Wrappers - Duct Tape (looked like black electrical tape to me) - Female Flowered Panties - and a String or Strap from a Bikini or Halter Top.

i think it is fairly certain that the aruban prosecution office is zipped tight on what evidence they do have on these suspects. so when we hear ANYONE down there hypothesizing on why various of the suspects are being held, including the dad, we should be skeptical, bc Trachtenburg (is that his name, the sort of cute one that howlin admitted to having a crush on), rudy croes, any of the lawyers for the different suspects, they are NONE in a position to comment on what evidence there is that is keeping the suspects in the slammer. MaryAnn Croes is the only one in a position to know and she is always EXTREMELY careful in how she words things to not tip their hand and expose any of the evidence.

Greta was very precise in her questioning the one lawyer, and i can't recall whose it was, i think it might have been Joran's, as to why the dad was held and she explored the parameters of the parent-child privilege in her questioning and pinned him down in theory as to what would have HAD To have been shown in order to get Paul VDS held in this case. did anyone else notice that?

Gracey, what I meant if they were her friends, a real intervention on their part could have possibly stopped Natalee's demise. I agree, they were probably asked not to discuss the incident with others.

Unfortunately the were walking around with their minds in the sky typical mindset of, we are in Aruba, it's party-time.

In the best interest of the investigation, it would be far better to keep them away from the limelight of the media.

Natalie had a cell phone with her but if she didn't think it worked there, maybe she bought a calling card. I'm not too knowledgeable about the cards as per purchasing, using or tracing. Can anyone clarify??

Kock said Sunday he feels the investigation is moving in the right direction, as police have scrutinized cell phone records and Internet traffic as part of the probe.

Those records, Kock said, show Joran Van Der Sloot called Deepak Kalpoe about 2:40 a.m. on the morning Holloway disappeared. In that call, according to Deepak Kalpoe's statements, Joran Van Der Sloot told him he had left Holloway on the beach and was walking home. About 40 minutes later, Kock said -- about the time it would take him to walk home -- Joran Van Der Sloot text-messaged Deepak Kalpoe to tell him he had arrived.

"I just think this goes to show that the story that Deepak and Satish are telling ... is substantiated by facts," Kock said.

Why would Joran be calling (2:40am) and text messaging (3:20am) Deepak so much? - I mean if the brothers left him on the beach with Natalee why would they worry or want to know about how he was going to get home? Usually buddy's would just say I will see or talk to you tomorrow. Take it easy...

Yes I do... The picture in post 740? Is captioned wrong - A correct caption would say from l to r - Joran - Freddy - Deepak (notice the shirt Freddy has on.) It matches the shirt in the picture I showed you where it shows all 4 of them together with Freddy on the far right. But freey has his cap off in the picture I showed you, but he has it on in post 740?

I do not know where it is. Freeper Big Jake stated earlier that there is a picture of someone by the name of Freddy on Joran's website that he says is one of the Kalpoe brothers

TexKat, I understand how these thousands of posts can blur together, but I have never stated that Freddy is a Kalpoe brother. I simply stated that the young man in the picture in #706 is not Satish. Perhaps this is where your confusion began??
