Lautenberg is an ass, and he's being a whining jerk about this right now.
What a boob.

Throw the Cessna pilot in the can. His little foray cost millions in lost government worker time Naw. That started the moment the government "workers" walked into their cubes. Call em government employees please. Calling them workers indicates that actually perform WORK!

I heard that Dubya was flying one of the F16s, and Rice Butt was a passenger in the Cessna...wearing his Depends.

I understand that Barney Frank is skipping, except when he gets too tired. Then he sashays for awhile until he catches his breath, then he starts to skip again. Now that I know the danger's over, this is funny!

Trent Lott is working out a deal right now with the other side of the isle that will determine which party members get to flee the Capital first in the future.

Ron Reagan on MSNBC: "Bob, I know my mom is at the White House this week. Do you happen to know where my mom is?" What? Ronnie wants to know where his MOMMY is? Sheesh.

Wednesday May 11, 05:29 PM U.S. authorities gave the all clear on May 11 2005 after evacuating the White House and Congress in response to a feared threat from an unidentified aircraft, officials said. The Secret Service gave the 'all clear' within minutes of the scare and allowed staff to return to their offices. File photo shows people running from the Capitol Building during an emergency evacuation, June 9, 2004.

...there seems to be a 'lack of co-ordinated activity'...
That's scary.
Someone called and told me the news was being reported by only one station on the radio. My first stop was to check here. My second thought was there's no coordination in place for response to national emergencies at our local level. This site is where I would go to get info. I can imagine our local authorities would be clueless. The country really isn't prepared.

Makes me furious that all the whiners come out now and chastise the actions of those who possibly would have saved their lives if a true threat.
They should have told them how far to run.......Good Grief!
Are there any sane people left in government?

Lautenberg complaining that a fat woman couldn't run. There has to be a better way, he says.
