Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.

The last of the Left Behind books, "The Glorious Appearing" was pretty gory in parts, too, but the parts of Jesus speaking directly to the Christians was soooo --- wow. I was really really blessed by what I read.
Then, just when you thought the world was over --- Mel Odom has written a companion series to Left Behind.
We must surely be in the last days.
Someone just came up with the question if Terri is an organ donor on her drivers license...that would surely indicate she didn't want to die in such a way they couldn't be donated.
I don't think Jeb is "corrupt." I DO think he has denied his responsibility before God Almighty. He will only realize what he has done after Terri dies.
I don't know where they got the idea that she wanted to be cremated, denied last rites, and her ashes scattered out of state... or is Mikey saying all that's true too?
I agree LeglaEagle. I believe the nation will want answers ove Terri Schiavo and I don't think Jeb and George realize how much we are angry at them for this. I think they thought their political careers would suffer more if they do something to help Terri, but I have a feeling they will soon find out that doing nothing hurt them more.
This is a great reminder for us all that we put to much trust in our worldly leaders instead of our GOD! I have never fully trusted Bush, not sure why, but now I have my answers. Men fail, I realize that, but there is a time for them to step up and be brave and lead and sad to say they didn't do it. I'm ashamed!
I know my lesson learned from all of this is that the Judicaial system is in control of the US in every area, family court, probate court, criminal court,etc.. They are the masters and now we know that is true seeing our own executive leaders bow to them! I will never forget this as long as I live. Many people will in the coming weeks, but I won't and I hope none of you will either! We must never forget Terri and keep it in the minds of people every day, including our leaders! We will not tolerate this any more!
I also believe that Jeb has really tried to help Terri. But now that all her family's efforts through the Courts have been denied, I do believe that Jeb could push for a criminal investigation due to the people coming forward with serious questions concernng this case. There are still so many saying that he does have the authority to do more. I am still, and will continue to seek the truth. I do want to believe that Jeb has done all he can, but can't yet when I keep hearing he could save Terri.

We should mourn Terri and rejoice for tommorow the Son of God is risen!
I poured out my pain on Good Friday, and asked God for a miracle.
Terri is still with us. Now we should put our whole beings and thoughts to God. That we turn our broken hearts and tears for the Schindlers and let God will be done.
Unfortunately we all know how we got here, but God is the ruler of the universe, God will take care of all of this on his schedule.
I have to trust God, it is all I have. I almost had a nervous breakdown in church yesterday at the Veneration of the Cross.
God help the Schindlers. God please awaken Jeb and George to use whatever power they have here on our humble earth. God use the good people, hearts and tears to help.
As long as Terri is with us, we have to hope. We have to. We just have to finally let God know that we trust in him no matter what the outcome.
We are good and faithful servants of God. Terri and the rest of the Schindlers are the ultimate servants of the Lord. God will not abandon them.

That would be under the President to have enforced. I forgot to mention that...the Deputy Sheriff said federal powers could have come into play with that, and that would have to come from the President. And then he said that he believed that wouldn't happen because the Gov. is the President's brother.
(This comes from a Deputy Sheriff, very conservative Republican, who admires both Bushes, and strongly believes this is very wrong and has had "discussions" with his co-workers about this wrongness....trying to change their minds about their being in favor of "pulling the plug". He has had to even go so far as to explain the suspicious/compromised behavior of Terri's husband, that he should have been removed as her guardian....the people just don't get it without massive amounts of being spoon fed. They're believing what the media's telling them: Terris's on "life support" and is basically "not there" and "they" wouldn't want to live like that, either. Then he had to tell them, but THAT'S YOU and that's what this is all about....what does TERRI WANT? The proof: "Whatever the compromised husband says is what she wants.")
If GWB doesn't have the answer, evidently Jeb has it. /sarcasm.

There are Freepers that are really testy about posters that use the Nazi's as examples of what is happening to Terri, BUT
One would think that America's memory can't be so bad that she doesn't remember what those people still left "alive" in the concentration camps looked like at the end of WWII---
I thought there was a call for "never again"---like you, I don't see how anyone could possibly facilitate starving another human to death..
We have also seen many posts saying that it is done thousands of times a year, we just don't hear about them..WELL, now we have and I think we should write our state legislators as well as the federal ones and get laws passed that starving ANY person to death would be a crime!
Fox is the neocon network. Neocons don't seem to interested in Terri's rights. E.g.: Kondracke, Hitchens, Andrew Sullivan, Krauthammer. I always said the neo-cons were "conservative" only when it came to the Iraq war -- and Fox was very supportive there. But they're not conservative on other things. (And I define neocon as a former Democrat who's become a liberal Republican - but claims he's some kind of "conservative" )
