Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.

Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.

Terri declared that she wanted to live RIGHT BEFORE THEY PULLED THE FEEDING TUBE. After Terri communicated this as best as she could and started crying, the cops kicked Barbara Weller out of the room and the tube was pulled. IS THIS STALINIST RUSSIA?

I may have already picked one. I've been surfing their websites; so far one has made a clear cut pro-Terri/anti-forced euthanasia statement as party policy.

Remember John Anderson back in the ancient days of 1976? Lots of surveys found many voted for Ford or Carter because they figured Anderson couldn't win. They were scared to "throw their vote away". It turned out that if they'd voted for Anderson, he might have won.

What can I say, they have their job to do. Cops don't usually deal with the cream of the crop.

I don't like the idea of them handcuffing children, but if the kids trespassed - and knew they were trespassing, then the law is the law. The parents are at fault for encouraging them, allowing it.

I don't know how you were able to stand this nightmare for so long. We spent most of today down at the county jail bailing one of the protestors out. At least there was a better crowd today. We also met the twins and their father. The mother was still in jail when we left, but I heard later everyone had finally made bail.
