Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.

Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.

Terri was conscious and able to communicate. I, personally have worked with people much worse than Terri. I have worked in a Hospice and communicated with people in a death rattle.

She wasn't dying until Michale started to kill her.

Parents starving their dependent children is the same thing.

This is a slippery slope.

We will now see people petitioning the court to have dependents starved to death for a variety of reasons.

The Schiavo boys have admitted it even this week on their many tv appearances! They "know" Terri isn't experiencing any pain. They "know" dehydration isn't a bad way to die, because they've seen it before. Oh yeah, they're not at all shy about telling anyone and everyone they were responsible for the deaths of their own two parents.

Futile care just wastes money and time. And people wonder why medical costs are eating up larger and larger chunks of our GDP. Because families can't let go, even when all they are doing is keeping a body alive.
