Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.
Amen, gentlestrength. Amen.
It would have been expected, I think, if during that prss conference he had wiggled out of the situation by saying he had "done everything I can do." But he didn't do that. He postured to his base and gave false hope and then did not live up to his principles. It was his defining moment and it is now over. He can't lay claim to the principles he purports to have.
I will never trust Jeb or his brother our Presidant again! They failed to lead in this and I will never forget it!
snort! But your aim is much higher.
President Bush signed that bill in the middle of the night. It's Jeb I'm mad at!! THAT SNIVELING COWARD FROM HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I GUESS it means SOME people are created equal, and SOME people are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights. SOME people are protected in America to enjoy LIFE, LIBERTY and THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS.
But only some people....my heavens, it sounds like we're back to the slavery issue, doesn't it?
Love your graphics! How about one with the federal judges sitting around a table overloaded with food, one of them holding a paper that says Shiavo case?
The first two pictures, wow, a powerful, and shameful, indictment of what is happening right now in Florida. They should be so deeply and utterly ashamed of themselves.
What crime did Joshua commit? He wanted bring a little bit of water to Terri.
You know, I have read some unfortunate comments by long time freepers, (who I have silently admired for almost 5 years, if you include my lurking years) that the Nazi comparison is inappropriate to this situation. Put these two pictures side by side. They could have been taken the same day.
pattyjo
watch it, you are getting emotional, they would rather you be euphoric.
"They failed to lead in this and I will never forget it!"
Frankly, leaders who do not protect their people are not leaders at all. W has protected us thus far, for the most part, this refinery non-Terrorist-event (right!) notwithstanding.
Whether it's one small child or a hundred men, people getting arrested for trying to bring water to a dying woman is proof that the state is ordering her execution. That a federal court protects a judge by saying there's no state involvement is ridiculous.
Governors and Presidents bowing down to a circuit court probate judge. Numerous laws being broken outright be same judges. I feel like I'm in a nightmare and cannot wake up.
again??? what the heck?
Excerpt from legal affidavit:
Mary Sue Hubbard: Mary Sue Hubbard was once the second highest ranking member of the Scientology organization. She received a substantial prison sentence from the federal courts for her part in Scientology's infiltration of over 11 United States government departments and the theft of millions of pages of government documents as part of Scientology's "Operation Snow White." Operation Snow White, which is still being carried out today, was the largest ever known infiltration of the United States government. Mary Sue Hubbard's testimony will be directly relevant to the issues of authorship, assignment and transfer of the alleged copyrights in connection with the various documents at issue herein. Furthermore, her testimony will be relevant to certain of the defenses and affirmative defenses.

Does anyone know who Annie Broeker is and if they kidnapped her?
"Finally, are Annie Broeker's screams in solitary confinement - as has been alleged in various declarations - still being heard on the RPF in Hemet? Roxanne Friend's files (which she gave me) are illustrative in this regard - and applicable to McPherson. Incidentally, can anyone put me in touch with Joe Leessor? Some claim he was LRH's hit man and heavy. It seems he may have been at he hospital just before Quentin died-possibly as a result of the plug being pulled. And where is Mark (Marty) Rathbun, who allegedly took John Travolta's jet to beat the fleeing Annie Broeker to New York and to bring her back to the RPF in Hemet? Last that I heard he was handling Suzette Hubbard's and Guy White's marital and child custody issues-until the church discovered Guy's and my burgeoning friendship and ordered him to disconnect from me on pain of losing access to his kids."

Are these the same people trying to kill Terri?
That goes for me also. Seems strange that we fight terrorism with such vigor, but we let a poor woman starve to death, with police protecting the murderers!!! My goodness.... what next.
BTW.... I've voted for Republicans in every election since I was able to vote. That will be changing now....sigh
"But only some people....my heavens, it sounds like we're back to the slavery issue, doesn't it?"
Michael owns Terri and can dispose of her as he wishes. Sounds like slavery to me.
called them all, besides 15 or so e-mails to Jeb
hand wringers, that is what we've elected!
I'm mad at both! I know George signed a bill in the middle of the night! But he is the Presidant of the USA! He knows Terri is alive and hasn't done a thing other than sign a law that did nothing! The minute that law was passed and a Federal judge turned it down George should have been all over it instead of saying He has done everything he can! HAH! He is the Presidant, he could done something! And JEB, I can't even go there anymore right now! I'm so sick at the thought of his bowing down to the Judicial System it disgusts me!
over paid hand wringers at that
No one knows why, that I've seen.
