I have time to change my mind to Colorado Springs.

I highly recommend Colorado Springs. Beautiful, good conservative and Christian area, large homeschooling community, thriving economy. The whole area also sits on top of NORAD which is arguably the safest spot on the planet. We are 25-minutes south and hope to move up there soon.

There is no proof that she asked him to do this

There is no proof she didn't.

He gave up his rights in God's eyes when he fathered multiple children out of wed lock.

Please reference a scripture for that.

Please refrain from invoking the Lord's name in any more of your comments.

No.

I sympathize with your feelings of frustration, but we can't compartmentalize God as an "Amero-centric" deity. There are inhumanities taking place across the globe, everyday. If our system is rotting, there's no reason to assume God wouldn't allow us to fall into bondage like kingdom after kingdom in the Bible, empire after empire in history.

All you need to know is this: God is merciful. He is taking care of Terri, even if it means ushering her into paradise. We're up in arms because the spotlight on the lack of respect for life in this country just got considerably brighter.

Remember the words of Jesus on the way to the cross - "pray not for me, pray for yourselves and your children."

Yes, and you can show your disgust like I am by letting Representatives know. They do listen, and soon they will have to take action.

I have written Jeb a letter letting him know I am leaving Florida, that it looks black as hell to me now, and I will never set foot again.

And I ask again, where does the authority come from for this judge to deprive the God given gift of life to this woman? Florida state law?

This judge is either tainted, something I do not wish to believe, or has not considered the seriousness of the decision he was entrusted with, and is therefore incompetent, something I do not believe.

How many people, doctors, witnesses, does it take to legally deprive an innocent person of life? Only 5 doctors and 3 witnesses? Wow, it takes more than that to convict a serial murderer.

I have lived there before. I don't mind 7 months of Winter, 3 months of Summer, 2 weeks each of Spring and Fall!

Fl state law. Of course, you won't like or accept that answer, either, since it goes against a "god given right," right?

We should be concerned that the judiciary considers us all to be alive by "artificial means," and that someone with "custody" of us on paper can decide to starve us to death.

The person with custody is obliged to follow YOUR instructions regarding medical care and the withholding thereof. Specifying the type of medical care you want (or not) is the key.

But do know that the term of art, "extraordinary medical means" includes food and water, and is not limited to resprirators; artifical lungs; articifial kidney; and so on. Even an IV drip is a medical procedure.

Well, that is good news, but how long will it take for it to be heard or a decision to take place?

Rush Limabugh does not believe that the Appeals Court will overturn the Federal "Judge" ruling. Also, Rush does not believe that the US Supreme Court will act. IMHO, an Executive Order by President Bush is all that Terri has left. Interesting that this is happening during Holy Week.

I am against anyone classifying food and water no matter how it is ingested as life support, artificial means, extraordinary measures.

I knew it was a matter of time before DNR orders meant DON'T FEED.

Sick sick sick

Attack? That's kind of a strong word for a reasonable analogy. If we need to just stop complaining and accept the process that just took place, we're no better than the Nazis at Nuremberg who claimed they were only following orders by allowing atrocities to go unchecked because of Nazi policies.

It's spineless. We'd be drinking tea at three if we didn't recognize tyranny when it showed itself.

Why not let Terri TRY to speak for herself? That has been completely blocked by HINO for many, many years now. All therapy which might lead to that has been refused. All tests and possible options which might lead to her being able to make her wishes known have been refused. Even testimony by nurses, and other professionals, that Terri might have said something resembling "I want to live" and signs of her distress when told she was going to be starved have been disallowed from entering the court records.

Is it right for HINO's hearsay to be given more weight than anything Terri herself might be able to say? Why not give her the chance?

Thank you for that clarifying point [what Terri would have meant if/when she uttered "no articifial life support"].

I sincerely do not believe that Terri's wishes are being respected or followed. Florida courts have a history of making incorrect decisions.

The Pope said that the US shouldn't have gone into Iraq, too.

No, he didn't. Either stop spreading that lie, or show where he actually said that. You can't, because he didn't.

you and the other death lover...dance on Terri's grave...glee over this woman's death...will poison you and your loved ones in the future.

Thanks for your kind words. It's so good to know that, unlike me and all the other "death lovers" your comments convey you obviously superior reasoning, compassion and love when dealing with those who disagree with you.

Please cite the law that the judge has invoked to give him the right to deprive Terri of her means of life. I challenge you to find it. He could order that her husband be guardian, but it would be pure subjective interpretation for him to read into that his authority to pull her feeding tube. He has overstepped his authority.
