Why not let Terri TRY to speak for herself? That has been completely blocked by HINO for many, many years now. All therapy which might lead to that has been refused. All tests and possible options which might lead to her being able to make her wishes known have been refused. Even testimony by nurses, and other professionals, that Terri might have said something resembling "I want to live" and signs of her distress when told she was going to be starved have been disallowed from entering the court records.

Is it right for HINO's hearsay to be given more weight than anything Terri herself might be able to say? Why not give her the chance?

No, it's not right for HINO's heresay to have more weight that what Terri may indicate, even if it's not in the King's english, with perfect diction!

Terri's real family wouldn't be fighting so hard to keep her if they didn't know the truth, that Terri responds to them!

Congress did subpoena Terri before a committee so we all could see/hear Terri herself.

But, of course, Judge Greer refused to accept the subpoenas.

Why Judge Greer has not been arrested for contempt of congress baffles me.
