Nothing more...
Should be the bill - not law yet.
No doubt here either. I was just trying to keep our vocabulary straight.

My understanding is that the "law" only allows the case to be heard/reviewed by a Federal Judge. This is not a slam dunk by any means, is it? I, personally, would think there are a number of federal judges that could rule just like Greer.
Praying, that if it be God's will, that there will be a federal judge who will order the tube to be reinserted pending review. But......and I emphasize this.....IF IT IS GOD'S will.
Does anyone know which district this might be presented in? Florida, D.C.? Other?
The SEnate has Passed the Terri ShiavoLAWBill.Excellent. Now President Bush needs to SIGN it into law.
Does anyone know if Jeb will be up for re-election ?
DELAY ON NOWWWWWWWW
CNN HAS DELAY ON.................
Wow. Now there's a shocker. /sarcasm.
I rest my case.
Fox News reported earlier that the minute this is signed into law, that it will face a judicial challenge as the bill has been written too narrowly, and as such, falls under the "Bill of Attainder" restrictions. Hence the law will be ruled unconstituitional.
Are there any atty's on the thread that can enlighten me as to this thinking?
CNN HAS DELAY ON......Thanks. I couldn't find it on FOX or See Spam

I won't watch FOX anymore as pertains to Terri. They are INTENTIONALLY spreading DISINFORMATION CONCERNING TERRI. They responded by snotty e-mail to corrections by FReepers about Terri's condition; they are taking as "truth" Greer's 'truth' about Terri.
They are NOT reporting NEWS about Terri. They are reporting LIES.
Bombard the dems in the house with email, let them know we will not stand for this not passing and all their speeches tonight and their posturing is just that...
It IS going to pass so STOP showing off...I', off to email many of "My" dims in Illinois

Do any of you get the impression, like I do, that the date and time of the removal of the feeding tube was all pre-planned so as to hasten Terri's death?
The timing: from what I've read, Terri is being fed thrice a day via the tube. I'm assuming here breakfast, lunch and dinner. if we can call them such. The date and time for the removal was planned for Friday, March 18 at 1:00 pm. My question: was Terri fed before the removal at 1:00 pm? If not, then the removal became effective from the time the tube was removed in the morning after the first feeding. This would have hastened Terri' death.
The day: Friday, the 18th, Palm Sunday. Seems to me that this date was chosen as it was believed our "esteemed" politicians would leave The Capitol and go to their families for the weekend. This date, too, was an attempt by the satanic trio (Greer, Felon and Michael) to hamper legislative intervention by making it harder to have a quorum.
The morphine: I read on these threads that Terri is being given morphine, unlike the last time. I didn't hear the last time they removed the feeding tube that morphine was being administered to Terri to "relieve the pain." So, why the morphine? May it be, in fact, that the morphine will hasten Terri's death?
What other ploys are the Satanic Trio using to make sure Terri is dead before any legislation is passed? If the above is true, then the Trio is intent on making sure that no one will intervene in time to save her.
Praying for our Terri.
I'm a lawyer and my first thought was that it was a bill of attainder. However, I lookd up the history and a key element is missing. A bill of attainder seeks to punish a single person without trial. Here there is no punishment therefore it should pass constitutional muster. Some examples of bills for single persons. Chrysler Bail out, Bills making individuals citizens, Gold Medals for Schwartzkopf at end of Gulf War.
Very true; and Delay knows the truth, and made it very clear, VERY CLEAR, in the press conference. Something the media WILL NOT tell!
Jeb is in his second term. He is out after this term
