Problem with Aviator: in now way fashion or form does he resemble Hughes or behave as Hughes might have. In his need to feel loved by the industry, Scorsese has attached himself to a real loser IMO I agree, and not only that, but DiCaprio looks 24 years old no matter how much make up and hair dye is used. He didn't have a commanding presence on the screen at all. He just didn't pull it off.

I know where you are coming from Torie, but don't you think it would be best for us to reserve this type of fawning for folks who truly deserve it? We lament the decline of our society aided in no small part by the very people attending this event, then support them through bumping up their ratings for events like this. Many of them know our opinions of them. If I were one of them I'd view us as a bunch of clowns for acting like we do when they are the main focus on nights like this. Do we view these folks has very detrimental to our society, or don't we?
