Just now on his radio show...says we taken over by fringe people

Sean – just heard your denigrating comments about Free Republic. Shame on you. Here’s a promise. Until you publicly apologize to all freepers you referred to as “fringe”, I’m tuning you out. Definitely won’t purchase your existing or future books and will explain to all that will listen you’re flipping on us. You decide. We’ll be listening.

Sorry guys, everything he says is true. I used to post here regularly, but got zotted because I actually believe in the efficacy of the scienctific method and suspect that the phenomenon of global warming is largely due to human agency. The only people left are those willing to toe the line in what is becoming an echo chamber for the logic impaired.
The kitty viking and the "all our belong to us" and getting series are like family jokes. This place wouldn't be the same without this inside humor and I find nothing childish about it at all.
Besides, this wasn't what Sean was talking about: what he calls "childish" is the fact that people here sometimes criticize him when he thinks that criticism is unjustified.

You're right. The non-stop gay bashing is getting revolting. Sometimes I hope people don't point to this place as an example of what political conservatives are like.
Hannity has no more power than the power we give him. He can say anything he wants whether it is true or false. We should be able to respond with clear conscience and fact. As the political forums or blogs or whatever you want to call it ascend in the minds of the media (old and new) the power grab will begin. He has become a product like a can of soup and he is promoting his product. Everyone is hawking a book or milking the talking head circuit in a never ending circle. This is nothing, every time Free Republic makes news it takes the spotlight from someone else and it is resented. As I read yesterday, some other website planned to ascend on us and cause havoc, it comes from every direction and it will not stop. I would love to know who has been here and who got the zot!! or who is here right now? Rush, Laura? anyone of interest? Sean should take he though and remember the Dixie Chicks, sometimes shooting off for know purpose can be counter productive.
I am a former Vannity listener and occasional defender. No longer.
He is now a big radio and TV star and his head has puffed up like a hot air balloon. I hear he's a bestselling author, too.
What really did it for me was one day a few weeks ago. He is constantly inserting the sound of a hiccup whenever Ted Kennedy is mentioned. A caller made reference to Kennedy's alcohol problem, and Vannity tore into him, and defended Kennedy. He said Kennedy might not have had a drink in years.
Vannity is always running on about how he is "intellectually honest". How is it intellectually honest to use the hiccup soundbite to say one thing and then, in words, say the opposite?
He's probably afraid of a lawsuit. He needs to protect that big pile of money he's raking in.
Vannity would be nowhere today if he hadn't had the good fortune to follow Rush when he was on just one station.
OK now that's just cruel. No more of that before I finish digesting this mouthful of Hannity Francaise.
Nothing against Marty, but as another poster put it:
Yesterday, during his open phone segment alotting 5 seconds to the caller, a male caller was succinctly making his very good point and gets cut off with Sean saying "...only 5 seconds..."The next caller was Marty and he proceeded to give him over 30 seconds...which consisted of Marty telling Sean how great he (Sean) is.
Pissed me off to see him immediately contradict himself...just because it was MARRRRRTTTYYYYYY!
ah ha...I vaguely remember something about Sean's connection to Connie Hair? You may be on to something here.
