Just now on his radio show...says we taken over by fringe people
Not really... Mark Levin has but he's hardly 'mainstream'. He should be, but Sean was better when he was more local. I like Levin local. Getting bigger may turn him bananas but probably not. He's a cool guy.
Well, if the response here had been less than this thread shows, I would have thought there would be no mention today.
However, now it will likely be up to the call screener to keep the subject off the radio.
I'm sure we don't.
Talk about biting the hand that feeds you. Not a good move.
I pointed you to a specialist in the field, who said just that (" We are in a period of global warming and almost all scientists agree on that") and who is far more knowledgable in the field than you or me. Did you actually read the reply? If you don't like his answer, take it up with him. I never claimed to be a climate specialist and that's probably not your profession either.
In response I provide a petition signed by seventeen thousand scientists, and that isn't enough for you! Talk about cognitive dissonance.
I asked you a question, which you have avoided answering. I'll repeat it. What percentage of scientists is 17,000? If it's not the majority, then you don't have a case.
I await your research on the numbers.
Yes, I guess you are right about that. Not surprising.
But seriously, I think he went further with his comments than just criticizing "the fringe people". He said that he left here because of a group of people. Do you really believe that? Do you think it was necessary to promote his site yesterday by making that little acrimonious speech?
You really should listen to it a couple more times.
I and thousands of others here pretty much know from where those remarks came. Sean was hurt by comments made by some here over time, and consequently he did his petty thing yesterday. He made a mistake. Big deal. He should admit it.
No intelligent person leaves a site like this because of a few "fringe" folks. There are way too many good reasons to stick around at FR. This is the best site in the country. He painted with that broad brush. He screwed up.........
What are Fringe People? Those not agreeing 100% with Vannity? Those not buying his books, not signing up for his website? Not paying to go to his events?
FOXNewsbooksellers.com is starting to get old.
Only Old media runs and hides from controversy. The new media takes it on and allows debate. Let's see which "media" the Hannity program is.
He would know becuase he indeed (at least says) he vists and posts on his board.
Last night there was a thread in there linking to this tread with some title like "FReepers FURIOUS over Hannity Trashing" or something.
The thread got locked when this tread was ~ 2600... so I'm SURE he heard about it (not to mention the volume of emails I'm sure he got... he even looked a bit frazzled towards the end of H&C last night when this was going down. I wonder if he was thinking of apoligizing then.
Don't forget however, there are quite a few Trolls and DU types in this thread who are MORE than happy to dump on Sean and use that as an inroad to take it further to dump on Rush or Rummy or whever else. Do NOT be fooled by nicks like 'ConservGrl444' and other BS 'seminar' tactics that are taught on some of those *other* sites.
Hannity can get repetitive and boring at times, but then again the Dimocraps have gotten away with chaning their story and 'hoping people would forget' for decades. It might be a bit slow to do 3hrs a day if you are a consistant listener. However if you just happen to tune in any day of the week, you will be reminded of facts (sure they might be the same dozen for 2 weeks, but whadda'gonna'do)
I like Hannity at his core. I think he is DEFINATLY being to opportunistic (much like Orielly before him) and he will have to scale back once he realized what a big turn off it is. He can be good, and has had some EXCELLENT shows. Perhaps in another 10-15 years he can be as good as RUSH.
this is a simple question yes or no did you add those words!
Just wondering?

So anyone who doesn't want polluted air or polluted water is a socialist or a Nazi, eh? However do you reason that?
If you can't be altruistic about the environment, be selfish. Do you really want to live in a garbage dump?
Do you think that we should adopt the Kyoto Protocol??
No.
I take your point. I will keeping listening to his show, with more attention to his comments, and if he sounds to me like he is moving to the "fringe" on his show, then I'll just turn my radio dial back to music! If he continues his tirade against FR on the whole without being specific in his meaning, we'll have to pressure him to apologize to FR.
If he was smart and as tough-skinned as he tries to act, he would take our advice....his shows are very repetitive, with the same cast, Newt, Levin, Ollie and his favorite Lib friends.
His #2 status is assured (perhaps lower after this)....RL has much broader variety....Vannity needs "friends" for support to fill the time.
no
Not a single one. Anyone can add to this list and it appears many did. Why?
There are plenty of "non main stream Right media" that have asked the REAL questions.
I don't know about anybody else, but I quit watching
Main Stream Right Wing Media
and listening to Main Stream Right Wing Radio
shortly after Nov 3.
I couldn't understand how the so called
Main Stream Right Wing Media
could say things like
"Senator Kerry was gracious in his concession speech..."
"Senator Kerry was so honorable..."
Etc
