ChicagoRighty, Hard to say how much it cost Hannity, all I know is Free Republic is a powerful group of collective individuals who have a common thread that binds us. Our motives here at Free Republic are not profit, or media ratings...it is love of country and a sense of values.

What it really cost Hannity? He lost some Respect from Free Republic, and possibly some viewers.

In Philly, Sean comes on after Rush. (1210) What he does is rehash Rush's opinions( his are always the same ), talk about Hannity and Colmes , and sell his stuff. It is very predictable. I long for the day he goes 2 minutes without saying unbelievable , or You know what?.

However, there is at least one study showing that the United States, at least, is removing more carbon from the atmosphere than it puts in, this due to extensive reforesting - tree farms planted in pursuit of profits from paper manufacturing.

I suspect that Sean got an email about that web site that was attacking FreeRepublic for banning people who disagreed on open borders and didn't look into the veracity of the email. Sean probably wasn't too surprised after the way some Freepers regularly attack him. We should ask him to explain.

I watched that debate 3 times and I concluded that Justice Breyer should step down. It's one thing to have a difference of opinion among the USSC Justices, but it's another to have a USSC Justice ignoring our Constitution in favor of case law from Zimbabwe, and Breyer cited Zimbabwe case law that he knew was overturned. Breyer should go!

I think FR is still very humble. The whole community of freepers was proud and awe struck by Buckhead and the Rathergate story. I was fortunate to basically lurk through the whole story as it happened. I got on board 9am that following morning after the first posts had been made already. I forget the date. It was awesome. Nothing wrong with having Dan Rather's scalp on your tent pole, neither. But I think most freepers still celebrate every big and small success. I'm just a goof-off loitering the forum since 2000. But the primary purpose of FR is to facilitate activism; i.e., action. And there's plenty of that going on. So it's a blog but it's also a network of real people who are walking the walk and ponying up money, too. Not big headed at all.
