Ya know. I agree and disagree. When I first listened to him I thought he was a Rush wannabe that did everything pretty much the same as Rush but never seemed to listen to the responses he got (be it friend or foe). Later I decided that I had misconceived what I thought I heard. Now I think I was right in my first interpretation and he is just slick. Time will tell but he has a long apology to come. Bring back Ollie North. He may have differed from my opinion from time to time but at least he was real.

Let him make his comment, let him self-promote, let's NOT start getting divided, whether we like Hannity or not, he did help get Bush re-elected. And his anti-Hillary campaign will only help in 2008.

As for flame wars and bickering.. he will get that there too....It is human nature for some types of people to act out on the internet. Find one blog or site that doesn't have flame wars and bickering.

The only posts allowed will all say, "You're a great American." Anything else will be banned.

Hannity changed after the successful election of Bush. He was a great campaigner and communicated widely on Bush's behalf.

But, after hearing Hannity spew nonstop "scumbag" at Russell Means in the manner of a rabid fascist "liberal" Democrat, I reject him as a conservative spokesman.

Freepers are not on "the fringe" - they on a broad pinnacle.

well whatever Sean said, he hasn't gotten much respect around here anyway and he doesn't deserve all that much. I view the recognition here, that Sean is mostly hot air, as a healthy sign that Freepers don't just worship every conservative commentator. I probably agree with all of Sean's positions, I just don't think much of him as a commentator.

Actually Rush seemed to be worried about competition from bloggers too, in his latest piece.

They really should understand that we are not competitors. We do something completely different, and we often give them free publicity.

I liked Hannity when I listened to him. And I liked Rush when I listened to him. I don't listen to either now because my commute is different. But Sean seemed like a decent guy, and Rush has been critically important for the conservative cause.

I have remained suspicious of the guy. He sounded too much like a Rush wannabe without the talent, never could listen to more than a few minutes of his show.

Just goes to show you that not everyone Ann Coulter poses for a picture with is a True Conservative.

Yes, her site is still up and running. The more conservative news sites the better, I say - I just wish it could come without them attacking one another as if we are in some sort of a contest.
