TERRI SCHINDLER SCHIAVO FEBRUARY DAILY THREAD 2005: TERRI IS OUR VALENTINE!
Free Republic and various sources | December 30, 2004, January 31, 2005 | Florida Voter

*Michael, HAVE A HEART !!!!!For Valentines Day give Terri back to her MOM & DAD, The Schindlers!!!!!!!!*

The Terri Schindler Schiavo Daily Threads are created month to month as we watch local and national news regarding Terri and her family.

Since Terri's supporters are in every time zone, you may see something FIRST. Please share news with us that you don't see here already. Now, why would you want to do that? Terri's Daily Thread for September/October of 2004 was viewed over 15,000 times. Terri's November Daily Thread was viewed over 6,000 times. December's thread is over 3,000 views. January 2005 Daily Thread was a RECORD HIGH!!!!!!! 15, 103 VIEWS!!!!!!

More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.

Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.

Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.

Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.

See Terri's flash movies if you need more information. You can see for yourself that's she's interactive and follows the doctor's instructions.

NOTE: Terri's December Dailies are noted as a source above. There are lots of important links at the very top of that thread. If you missed Terri's Celebration of Life, you can click on it from there.

AGAIN WE HAVE A NEW RECORD: 15,103 views on the tote board for the Terri Schindler Schiavo January Daily Thread!

The most significant event in Terri's case in January, was the Supreme's Courts refusal to hear Governor Jeb Bush's appeal, after the Florida State Legislature struck down Terri's Law. This once again places Terri's life in extreme jeopardy, though there are other issues regarding her case before the court.

Dirtboy is correct. This is a state issue, not federal.

However, is the law allowing euthansia retroactive? As I recall, Terri was injured quite a few years before the law was legalized. Michael said many things in a court of law in the malpractice trial, then changed his mind once the law was enacted. On t.v., he has publicly said that he doesn't like his father-in-law and that's the reason he won't give in and let the family care for her.

Judge Greer, yoo hoo.

When her sick puke of a homocidal husband goes to meet the divine Judge, she will be there as witness to what he did to her. There is no escaping THAT justice.

"On t.v., he has publicly said that he (Michael) doesn't like his father-in-law and that's the reason he won't give in and let the family care for her."

Wow!! It sounds like on top of everything else, Michael is REVENGEFUL.

If he said right on tv that "that's the reason," it seems that the tv clip of Michael saying that should be presented in a Court of Law.

Florida does not have a law (yet) permitting euthanasia, voluntary or otherwise. This case is setting precedent for just that sort of thing.

I left for a few hours tonight and come back before going to bed and find out things have been going on around here tonight. I've got to catch up now.

What's this about Alan Keyes daughter? This is news to me? I haven't been following Alan like I used too. Alan Keyes is against civil unions and gay marriages too. At least he was when he ran for the Senate in November.

Right. O.K. if this law allowing Terri to be murdered was not in effect in 1990, or whatever year, how can it be legal now?

That is the part of this case that bothers me the most. The husband, and the fact that he has many potential motives for wanting Terri dead. If she were to be found strangled in her hospital bed, he would be the lead suspect. But because the state would be doing the killing for him, none of the motives apparently come into play. That's just plain whacked.

YOU are absolutely right! I've said this a number of times and can't understand why her parents' attorneys don't address it.

But maybe they have and I don't know.

Unfortunately, SCOTUS has hamstrung ex post facto arguments recently. I hear you, though.

I thought they did have such a law. That makes it even worse. Why don't the Schnindlers attorneys demand proof that the state has the right to murder her?

The court (Judge Greer) continues to rule that this is Terri's wish, based on the hearsay evidence of her husband, his brother, and his sister-in-law. He doesn't consider this murder, and he doesn't consider it assisted suicide. Go figure!

Could it be possible that this case would be eligible for a Supreme Court review on the issue of state rights - no law in effect? People can't be murdered legally. The justice system has to come into effect.

Jeb should know that.

And that's what I'm getting at - Michael speaks with a forked tongue. Malpractice, he says what it takes to get the money. Got the money, he wants to be rid of his wife.

But everyone on these threads knows that. Still, it is motive - MOTIVE!

Absolutely! He's got motive and opportunity, and now the means. It's been a crime in the making for a very long time. It even has judicial approval. Why the court can't see it for the attempted murder that it is is beyond me. How does one go about charging a man with attempted murder in a place where his concubine's mother worked for the sheriff before her death six months ago? How can we get the system to work for Terri? What the hell are we doing wrong that this seems to have no reversal?
