And I just forgot to use new paragraph tag.
We'll all pretend to care. ;-)

Joined on 3/31/04 after lurking since fall of 1999. Have enjoyed this place immensely since first finding it. Kindred spirits and all, I guess. I don't debate or criticize much. I like to use ridicule against the Libs and Dems. Prolly 'cause I'm lazy and they make it so damned easy. I proudly wear #142385, but I don't really feel like a newbie.

I'm sure sKerry will be exposed for the phony he is. He can run but he can't hide, just like the other enemies of our country!
Seems I remember GW saying something the the effect of: You're either for us or you're against us. Kerry qualifies in the latter group. The American public will better realize that and say goodbye to him soon.

Terri Schiavo. It's possible the info about her hasn't reached you in Korea. She is the brain-injured woman that the MSM reports as being comatose that her "husband" got permission to remove her feeding tube last October (2003). She was starved and dehydrated for six + days when the Florida legislature passed a new bill giving Jeb Bush the authority to have the tube re-inserted. That's it in a nutshell.
Here's a link to this month's posts. Right now we're around the 700 or so mark. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1160193/posts?page=1,5

This web site is good. I like read good word from America persons and learn english good. My husband help America soldiers and not comunist against to be free, what I like is America persons, nice big country and this blog take me close to big country over Ocean. I like that America persons write about my country and that is good. What I like is that many persons from different country talk and understand. And that is good.

Thanks CJ, you have described the situation correctly - a number of recipients followed by an elipsis.
On further inspection I can also see that all these posts are from the same Freeper, who was part of my first thread, so clearly I'm on his ping list. I had not been observant enough to notice that before.
In a way this fact is another piece of input to the original subject of this thread - a Freeper noted my interest in a particular subject and has pinged me to all his threads on the same subject since then. I'd call that a pretty helpful and welcoming thing to do, even if I was not savvy enough to recognize it!
Thanks again CJ for helping me "de-bug" this one.

I beat you here by 2 days, but you lurked a little longer than I did. (fall of 1999 you say!) Like you, I didn't really feel much like a newbie either after lurking so long.
