Meaning, how often a veep candidate was an opponent during that party's primary? Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush.

If the Post says it's Gephardt, it will be someone else, probably Edwards.

I usually don't care one bit what goes on over there, but I would like to know their take on this.

Edwards negatives to discuss: 1) Trial lawyer, do you really think he's going to favor tort reform? 2) Sent his wife to a fat farm before the presidential campaign. 3) Probably would not have won re-election to the senate in North Caroloina
To: djf
Edwards was really 3rd choice. The others refused to be associated with a loser.

Did you see him clean Lierman's clock in the veep debate? It was a beautiful thing.

I'm sure.
FNC reminded us that Edwards was voted most sexy politician. (Ugh!)
This seems to actually MEAN something to women voters, unfortunately. We need competency tests before permitting people to vote.

Well, Edwards does have two things going for him. He has a nice smile and he's a millionaire trial lawyer.
Sounds like somebody all Americans would have confidence should something happen to Kerry and Edwards assumes the Presidency
Edwards was the "poll" choice. Just what we need....another President who rules by the polls. Clinton must be so proud.
